Asmundr finds a spot that he believes will be suitable (and
cheap) in an abandoned warehouse near the docks. He manages to
rustle up five acolytes and a priestess whose temple had been
destroyed during the zombie apocalypse. For the deed and the
necessary refurbishing, he pays 1200 gold. He pays 3 gold per
day for the wages of the acolytes and priestess.
Though Asmundr has difficulty finding mining operations he can
buy outright, he manages to find 10 Dwarven miners in an Inn
near Tolbrun, who are currently looking for new deposits to sink
their pickaxes into. He manages to convince them to come to
Stonehenge and try their luck in the nearby mountains. As is
customary amongst Dwarves, they request their wages as a
percentage of profit: 20% of the profit from the mining
operation will be given to them, to be parsed out amongst
       themselves.
During demonstration of your gunpowder weapons, you expend one
charge of each. The villagers seem rather alarmed seeing such
things, and you get the sense that they've never even heard of
weapons like this. They listen carefully to your instructions,
and by the end seem to understand how to properly operate these
weapons, though you're unsure exactly how well they'll do with
       them without actual hands-on practice.
Delphinius raises his eyebrows and looks around at his
companions, who both fight back smiles. "Well," he says, "The
cocky young Cormyrns in charge of watching over us evidently
didn't think three old goats were much of an escape risk. It's
quite the tale, but perhaps it would be best told at another
time." (I'm saving this one for a rainy day one-off) "Now then,
as to the business of the castle, the whole reason the three of
us came here was to assist you with your budding lordship. I
know you only asked for myself, but Sir Lawrenz here is my most
trusted general, and has been at my side since Denerim was still
occupied by the Netherese overlords. He will ensure the safety
of your hold, and turn those men in your service into real
fighting lads." Sir Lawrenz bows to Asmundr, and says, "It would
be an honor to serve you, my prince."
"William, on the other hand," Delphinius continues, "I wouldn't
trust with even a blunted blade. But, you'll find he's an
excellent counter of coin. He can help look after the finances
and such while you're away." William laughs and says, "He'll
never let me forget that I accidentally sliced my hand drawing
my blade once, but I can still defend myself, and will endeavor
to manage your coin as you see fit, my prince."

       Lifestyle expenses: Squalid (1sp/day=15gp total)
In the 5 months, Popo has spent his time searching for the
perfect wave. Reflecting on the teaching of his late master
brother Shirri, master of the "Kai-Keanu (Gentle ocean breezez)"
technique. Finding tranquil vistas, meditating under waterfalls,
catching the bodacious pipelines of the sea, Popo remembers back
to his late master brother Shirri. Once he had no concerns for
anyone but himself, his travels with the Fallen Star Company
have shown him that his skills must be refined and directed
towards the betterment of those around him (Popo's alignment
shifts to CG from CN and he is now a Tranquility monk instead of
Way of the Open Hand). After many months exploring his past, and
honing the long-forgotten techniques of Kai-Keanu, Popo hears a
voice in his head, Asmundr sends to him saying, "Popo... I heard
you have been having a constructive time off, and I just wanted
to invite you to a little festival we're holding in Stonehenge."
Popo replies, "Hey, far out bro, my soul search has been most
righteous, brother! I'd love to see you guys again, sounds most
       excellent."
In due time, Popo arrives at Stonehenge Castle, feathered
helmet, feathered cape, tunic, and all. He appears more chill
than ever, in fact you might say he even has a tranquil glow,
which he extends to everyone he meets.
