Clunk nods and takes two steps to the side allowing a view into
the room.

Seeing that no one makes an action Clunk walks out of the area
and follows his tracks back toward the path.
*if its all fine
Clunk follows them all the way back to the fork where we decided
to go north and away from Pentadragons' City.
"Shall we follow those peasants or make our way to getting the
land for our castle?"

*Also assuming that nothing has changed to not allow Clunk to
simply walk out of clearing*
Geoffrey kneels down once we're out of sight of the woman's
tree, "you must be Edwina - some of your friends are worried
about you. Here, " Geoffrey holds out a piece of bread, "you
must be hungry."

Clunk is able to walk away with no trouble.
Edwina eyes the bred hungrily, but looks at you fearfully.
Suddenly, she produces a mage hand which snatches the bread from
you and returns it to Edwina. She scampers off to be a few steps
away from you before tearing at it with her teeth

I know this is moving rather fast, so I want to pause for a
moment and make sure everyone's gotten to do what they want at
Black Agnes' house

I am going to do a help action on Geoff to investigate for
illusions, "Hags are tricky bwitches, does anything here seem
nonmaterial or illusory to your elven eyes?" I telpathically
ask. (This was when the door was open)

*Investigate check for illusions - d20( 8 / 4 ) + prof (7) +
guidance d8 (8) = 23*
Geoffrey returns in telepathy, "I'll let you know if anything
looks suspicious." and makes sure to survey the inside of the
tree as well as the girl. He wonders to himself if the figures
are casting shadows in the light of the fire, for example.

Everything seems to be behaving like a real, physical object,
though some of the smaller clutter inside the tree would need
closer inspection to be sure. You feel pretty certain that
neither Agnes nor Edrica are under the effects of any illusions.
