       The Beastlands are thick and untamable wilderness that have
       blocked the southward expansion of High Imaskar

       since its
       inception. Dinosaurs roam freely here, often to the detriment of
       any wayward traveler. The region has been shown to have rich
       deposits of gemstones, and so daring prospectors often brave the
       wilds. Few ever return. Though the region was avoided and even
       walled off from the Lilty Empire, ruins suggest that it was once
       the site of an even more ancient civilization.
       The Beastlands are a favored destination for the most daring
       members of the Order of the Hunt

       />They prize the splendid trophy skulls of their dinosaur quarry

       but many pay for them with their lives.
       There are rumors of a group of people who take residence in the
       Beastlands, and use dinosaurs as beasts of burden.
