"No deadline, of course not. You and Olly, and whoever else
wishes to take part are welcome to do this when the wind takes
you there." He frowns slightly when you mention Shaun, "now
Shaun is an interesting case I believe. I am aware he intends to
sail to Gulthandor - what he hopes to find I'm not certain." He
looks down at the ground, "Shaun came to the circle many times
as a child, and perhaps he means well. But the Gulthandori are
not so welcoming of outsiders, although their ability as Druids
is unparalleled," he says with almost admiration. "It would take
too long by sea and land to reach the White Bear Circle."
"As for Ilha Desperdico, the druids are left in a very dire
situation. Diego has returned and informed me more of the
situation. Unfortunately, he has uncovered precious little. Now
with Calthash on the island, out of observance for the Feat
process I shall not interfere on his quest." Then he looks up
from the floor and scans your faces. "I would wish that the men
and women return alive from their Feats. If you see yourselves
supporting either of them, I would ask you at least help them
return alive." He goes to pour some tea, it smells of mint. "I
imagine some of Calthash's friends will be in the Barracks in
Trolde, they will likely know more details about where he has
gone, and I believe Shaun plans to leave soon enough."

"What are the differences between your circles? Do you have any
meeting with them ever? Are you ever at odds with eachother?"

"Indeed, I am curious," Viri says, folding his arms. "What are
your feelings on this talk of retaking Gulthandor for the people
f the Western Isles? If the Druids of the White Bear are as
formidable as you say, surely it will be no small task. But even
if you do not agree with their methods, surely you must think it
abhorrent to bring doom and destruction to other wardens of
nature?"

"Surely Protecting the Western isle is the primary idea.
Strengthening the People and taking back the cursed arcana
island. Shaun is on a foolish mission that does not benefit the
people, it is selfish and stubborn! Why attack the enemy when
your own land is in peril? We should place our faith in those
who try to defeat the frost magic. Calthash un Taig or liam
Marsamuch are the logical choices!" Clunk looks at the group
then back at Gremion "we should not be so quick to decide where
we are to go."

"Each circle is independent of another - they develope their own
ways. Throughout the world the circles are typically small, have
little power or interest in the outside world. They are often at
far-flung parts of the world. The Fonts of Freya bring
like-minded people together, but disagreements do happen
occasionally."
He offers you all seats at the wooden table. Sitting down
Gremion says, "Sometimes it is brothers who fight most
fearsomely. The Great Tree Circle as the Western Isles Circle
was once called when it was at its peak, made an ideological
break from the White Bear Circle. We were founded to compliment
the people and provide refuge. However the talent of the White
Bear Circle lead to their success and a society guided by
Wardens. Conflict was fierce for a time and the scars remain on
the Wailing Coast to the west. Our weather magic was developed
specifically to repel the invading forces.
"But times have changed. The Great White Bear in recent times
has ceased sending his druids to our islands. Most people in
Trolde probably do not remember when they last saw a Gulthandori
Druid. Yet many hear stories of Gulthandori pirates prowling the
coast lands, singing to the Sirens. Members from many different
circles assemble at the Font of Freya in the south every seven
years during the summer solstace, but it has been 5 years
since."
"As for retaking Gulthandor, this is difficult to say. The
circle attempts to interfere little with the will of the people,
but equally retaking Gulthandor would almost certainly draw both
circles into conflict. Although all of this is what my years of
druidic training tell me, my blood tells me that the Gulthandori
have also overstepped themselves. Grach was my friend, a friend
of many, and most people of the Western Isles do not take things
sitting down." He sips at his tea.

"Duuuuude, are you saying the White dudes had some part in
Grach's death... or maybe the storm at Ilha Desperdico?"

"I wish least to be unfair, but I have suspicion that Grach's
death was at the hands of the Gulthandori. As for the anomaly,
Diego was at least able to say it is a form of very old magic -
most powerful. I would not place such capabilities past those of
the White Bear."

"Whoa dude, like, why do you say that? Could there be a third
party involved? Also, did you Great Tree druids ever try
contacting the Bear dudes, if you both work for this Freya
bunny, I think maybe you work things out right?"

"For a third party to be involved, it would require doubting the
accounts of a dozen men. You might be able to find Celio, the
Leitenant, in the barracks. I'll warn he might not like to talk
about it. But unlike our dear Ungrag, Grach was not into monster
hunting and his troops not easily defeated."
He sighs, "the split between the circles caused a split in
ideologies. On the surface they worship Silvanus, as all druids.
Freya is one of the lesser goddesses of Silvanus. However, their
goddess Eldath sees our belief in Freya as heretical - and as
such only the most liberal druids would be civil to us. I feel
that in any case, the involvement of this circle would only
complicate matters."
