On shore, Popo beaches Babara-Ann, kicks her up into his hands,
shakes his hair out like it was a shampoo commercial, and gives
a gleaming smile at the beach. "Far out, let's grab that boar!"
He says to no one. Popo leans over and collects some stones.
After a few moments of focusing on the stones in his hands, then
his staff, and chanting in a different language. He meditates in
the sand for a second, drawing symbols in the sand, he casts
Speak to Animals as a ritual. He gets up and says "Let's go get
a proper luau going!"
He searches for any signs of boars or other animals, as he
sneaks around the island, he calls out in boar, saying something
like, and "Hey boys, I'm looking for a big... strong...
big-tusked boar to help me out near the beach... the waves
splashed on me and got me so wet." Mimicing a female boar as
best he can. Knowing that it is boar mating season (spring
right?) He figures he might attract some meaty boars. He waits
hiding behind his board, which he propped horizontally in the
sand. He readies himself to toss his stones at any boar that he
sees coming through the forest.
*Survival check: 13+5=18
Deception check: 19+2=21
Stealth Check: 3+4=7
Perception check: 20+4+5=29
From Olly's perspective it looks something like this.

Clunk pulls open his guide book and starts to swiftly read
through it studying, learning, preparing. Drowning out the
incessant rabble. Clunk begins to plan for the next day.

Popo takes his time finding some tracks in the forested up a
slight dirt path leading away from the beach. There appear to be
no signs of civilization in the area, but he eventually spots
some small prints. At this point you call out, and one medium
sized boar appears out of the brush, with tusks. It calls out
"Hey I was just sleeping..." then it spots him among the brush
and does a double-take. "Oh, are you a boar?"
Clunk happily sits down to read his book, managing to glean a
good amount of information from it, particularly regarding some
useful herbs he can look for tomorrow. During his quiet time, he
also remembers some of the words Ssyar said, narrating from the
large Giant book.

Popo takes this moment to volley 2 of his magic-embued stones at
the pig.
*Ranged spell attacks 14+5(wis)+4= 23 and 16+mods= 25.
Damage: 2+5+3+5=15
Popo rushes the boar, chucking stones at it durring his advance.

Popo displaying his stone-skipping skills quickly fires off two
stones directly into the poor unaware boar. After a the two
stones the boar simply falls over saying "Nooooo... Oinkie..."
and then silence.

"Bodacious!" Popo exclaims, he gathers up the boar 🐗
corpse and heads to the beach.

Popo arrives back at the beach with his phat lootz. The sun has
since fallen below the horizon, and there is only a faint glow
remaining.

Hearing this rambunctious man return to camp, Clunk looks up and
sees the boar "If you have any other aspirations besides
surfing, I would invite you to join our hunt tomorrow. The
others seems to have taken a liking to you, and you can hunt.
You may prove at least a little helpful."

Viri, who had been gathering dead wood and dry brush for a fire,
drops his pile of sticks and lets out a cheer as Popo returns
with his prize. "Yahoo!! The man is more than talk! A fine prize
indeed, my friend, and an auspicious start to our griffin
expedition! Now, let us see if you can cook! Olly, Clunk, help
me build a fire worthy of this boar."

"Hang loose brothers" He puts the hog carcass on the ground, "I
gotta bocha this gnarly pig stench off me first." He walks down
to the sea and takes his clothing off, you see that his back is
covered in various scars, including burns down his right flank.
He washes up and puts his jacket and shorts back on and says,
"Alright, now that I got my baggies back on, Let's get this
thing going. I'll need someone to dig a pit large enough for
this sucker, and we gotta get some stones down in there, she
needs to be blazin'. After that, it's all me." Popo begins
preparing the boar for cooking.
Cook Utensils check: 14+4+4=22
