Before we get into it, here is the map:
  HTML https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4kzQVxGkq8KSHFuV2trZHRJc1E/view?usp=sharing
       Preface:
It has been nearly 2 years since the Fallen Star Company
  HTML http://dndgurnee.createaforum.com/fallen-star-company/
       assisted
in the defeat of the armies of darkness in Damara
  HTML http://dndgurnee.createaforum.com/damara/damara-general/,
       and
recovery has been progressing steadily. Many of the domestic
threats and terrors which had been held in check have returned
to ruined lands, keeping adventuring parties like the Fallen
       Star Company busy at home.
With the death of the last heir to Damara, it has become a split
nation. Feudal lords vie for power and seldom cooperate with
eachother. Lord Bloodstone has become one of the more powerful
nobles, as his fame for the Battle at Bloodstone pass fuels his
       ambition.
Though High Lord Knight Cormyrn XVII General of the Purple
Dragons was slain at the Battle of Bloodstone Pass, Cormyr
  HTML http://dndgurnee.createaforum.com/holy-cormyrn-empire/
       soldiers
on under the leadership of Dowager Empress Oelynn Cormyr, who
holds the throne until Prince Oelar Cormyr comes of age. Though
their military might is lessened, the people find that their
Dowager Empress is much more fair and caring than their late
Emperor, who had always been considered a harsh, cold,
conceited, and unrelenting monarch (though no one would dare say
so while he was on the throne). Her leadership may just herald a
golden age in Cormyr's domestic prosperity. Denerim continues to
be a vassal state of Cormyr. Upon revelation that Denerim
  HTML http://dndgurnee.createaforum.com/denerim/
       had no part in the
abduction of their son, Empress Cormyr released King Delphinius
from their prison and secretly exiled him to Longginquo
  HTML http://dndgurnee.createaforum.com/ilha-mercador/the-islands/,
       to
live out the rest of his days comfortably, under close Cormyrn
       Guard.
With the Orc charge into their flank, the demon army was
       devastated, and their Pumpkin-headed Leader
  HTML http://dndgurnee.createaforum.com/dunwoo/dunwood-general/
       was
seen retreating back East with the remainder of his host in the
       final moments of the battle.
The Avatar of Bane was struck down with a final charge by the
Purple Dragon knights, led by their commander High Lord Knight
Cormyrn XVII General of the Purple Dragons, with his Foehammer
of Torm General Aloinne of the Purple Dragons struck a final
blow to the Avatar of Bane. With a mighty blast, and a
ear-shattering boom, the avatar's body combusted. Scorched in
the crater where Bane was slain are dark runes, scrying Bane's
essense. General Aloinne survives and is still recovering from
his dire wounds in Cormyr as a mighty hero.
       Narfell
  HTML http://dndgurnee.createaforum.com/narfell/narfell-general/
       has
once again fallen, and once again Thomas stands to rebuild
Narfell and raise up its people. In a brilliant retreat,
High-Regent Thomas lead his people up the mountains into the
ruins of Old Peltarch. As the Demon Army ravaged the vacant
city, the people were sheltered up in the mountain ruins. The
remaining host were dispatched from Peltarch with a daring
counter-strike. Though the city is ruined and plagued with
demoic essence, the people rejoice that the scourge is over and
praise the Thomas for his leadership. Thomas has founded a new
Peltarch nearer the coast, renaming the ruins of his old city
"Old Peltarch" and furthermore renaming what was known as ruins
of Old peltarch to "Oldest Peltarch". Crops are ruined, homes
are destroyed, though they have survived the battle against the
demons, their war against the harsh northern climate,
starvation, and poverty has only just begun.
With the assistance of King Rognvaldr
  HTML http://dndgurnee.createaforum.com/npc's/king-rognvaldr/,<br
/>Impiltur has been unified under the the banner of Queen Oswynn
  HTML http://dndgurnee.createaforum.com/npc's/queen-anneleise-oswynn/.<br
/>Besides minor disputes and rogue mercenary bands, opposition
       to
her claim is weak and disorganized. The struggle for power was
difficult, but with the veteran leadership of Rognvaldr, and
much sacrifice, peace has come to the Oswynn Land. With
       mentoring from Rognvaldr and Chryserys
  HTML http://dndgurnee.createaforum.com/npc's/chrysyres/,
       Queen Oswynn
has developed into a fair and able sovereign, the alliance
       between Grand Halen
  HTML http://dndgurnee.createaforum.com/grand-halen/
       and Impiltur
  HTML http://dndgurnee.createaforum.com/impiltur/impiltur-169/
       has
brought stability and peace to the Nothernlands.
Prince Aglarond, now King Pelagius, and his army provided vital
assistance in the battles for Impiltur. After Queen Oswynn was
enseated, Impiltur rewarded Aglarond greatly. With their
assistance, the Aglarondian city of Veltalar has been liberated
and rebuilt, and is now host to King Pelagius' throne and
armies. The struggle to recapture and unite a land that has been
lawless and abandoned for nearly 80 years will be long and
difficult. The unchecked terrors of the Yuirwood forest and
threats from ambitious neighbors may ensure that Aglarond never
restores itself as the powerful and noble nation it once was.
The final moments at the Watchwall left some of Aglarond's
finest warriors and arcanists behind at Watchwall Keep to stall
the hordes of undead for the retreat. No word has come from
these brave warriors, but rumors say that in the depths of
night, one can see flashes of light and hear distant yells
       coming from the castle.
Grand Halen was ravaged by the undead plague. As the horde
crawled across the land, the villages and duchies of Grand Halen
conducted swift retreats. Grand Halen's population plummeted
from 800,000 to less than 100,000. Many of the people hastily
retreated across the Sea of Fallen Stars to Denerim
  HTML http://dndgurnee.createaforum.com/denerim/denerim-general/,
       Ilha
       Mercador
  HTML http://dndgurnee.createaforum.com/ilha-mercador/ilha-mercacor-general/,<br
/>or elsewhere. Others survived in remote keeps of the valley,
out of reach of the mindless hordes. Impiltur and other allies
have been essential in reclaiming and restoring Grand Halen, and
the crown finds themselves politically and economically
indebted. The cities and inhabited villages of Grand Halen are
mostly safe again, but vast stretches of vacant and ruined land
still exist in valley, where shadows linger.
       The Death Knight Jack Shepard
  HTML http://dndgurnee.createaforum.com/the-beginning/vaasa/?message=1283<br
/>slayed his captors and has disappeared, upon hearing the news,
       Aisha Shepard
  HTML http://dndgurnee.createaforum.com/npc's/aisha-shepard/
       has been
on a raged quest to find and recover her father and bring his
spirit to rest, in whatever way she can.
After some excitement, Asmundr and his allies have acquired
       Castle Roth's Hold
  HTML http://dndgurnee.createaforum.com/fallen-star-company/stronghold/<br
/>South of the Dragonfalls of Grand Halen. They have invested
quite a bit of their holding to restore and renovate it, making
it a suitable station from which to launch adventures. After
their role in the Red War of the North, the Company's fame has
increased greatly, most of the people remaining in Bardertown
know them by name and see them as living heroes.
Operating from their fortress, the Fallen Star Company has
helped to slay terrors that roam the ruins of Grand Halen. As
stability returns to the fertile valley, the Company turns its
ear to more distant intrigue, and rumors from beyond the sea.
The Company opened their Inn, the Fallen Star, and have left
Blaster in charge of its operation, it struggles to break even
in an impoverished and desolate Bardertown, but the joy it
       brings the people is enough.
The alien spelljammer sustained major structural damage at the
Battle of Bloodstone Pass, and after flying it to Grand Halen,
it ran out of whatever was keeping it up, and it crashed in the
mountains North of the Dragon Falls. The Company has attempted
salvage and repair, but as of yet, their understanding of how it
functions and how to repair it limits them.
       The Swift Sisters
  HTML http://dndgurnee.createaforum.com/npc's/the-swift-sisters/
       have
returned to Copperwood Manor in Bardertown. Ellie is the captain
       of the fishing Buss
  HTML http://dndgurnee.createaforum.com/qa/ships/
       "Ardor" and looks
after her two youngest sisters. Macky minstrels at noble events
and taverns, and lives on her own in the new town-square of
Bardertown. Though the group has been extremely busy, she visits
with Asmundr and the Fallen Star Company whenever she can, but
leads a largely private life beyond her work.
Thirteen took his leave of the Fallen Star Company after helping
clear Bardertown. He travels the land continuing the teachings
of Duncan Seastove and the Diem.
Billy learned common, and after assisting the Fallen Star
Company with several missions, he left with Geoffrey to go
South. He returned to his Village in the Lake of Steam, where he
resides with his wife Pyg and his children. As a parting gift,
he braided his hair and cut it off, giving it to Geoffrey. He
explained that this was a tradition that shows the greatest
honor and respect. *Geoffrey gains 1x Billy's Braid*

       He has
been a close and vital ally in the restoration of Grand Halen,
and has served on several missions with the Fallen Star Company.
       Opening:
As Asmundr finishes his last song on stage, he takes a quick
smiling bow and nods over to Campnella, Lyrinaa, and Clunk to
get up from their stools, at their usual spot on the Northeast
side of the Fallen Star Inn
  HTML http://dndgurnee.createaforum.com/fallen-star-company/adventure's-end/.<br
/>The party exits the inn to continuing applause, and as he
       opens
the door for his fellow adventurers, Asmundr says towards the
barkeep, "... please try to keep things in order while we're
       gone".
       Blaster
  HTML http://dndgurnee.createaforum.com/a-short-introduction-to-your-character!/blaster/<br

       IT!!!!!! HAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA"
Asmundr furrows his brow in uncomprehention, but trusts his old
friend. He takes one final bow into raging ovation and waves his
hand 'goodbye'. As he closes the door behind him, he hears the
       the Bjornssons
  HTML http://dndgurnee.createaforum.com/npc's/fia-and-gia-grimsson/'<br
/>familiar giggling and looks over to their table and gives a
smile and wink. The group heads on to their outfitted wagon, and
heads southeast through the empty streets of Bardertown
  HTML http://dndgurnee.createaforum.com/grand-halen/bardertown/.<br
/>Moving towards the dockyard, where the Company's private
       Carrack
       "Hang 'Em High"
  HTML http://dndgurnee.createaforum.com/fallen-star-company/vessels/<br
/>is docked. Much outside of the main circle around the Palace
       is
still vacant, but with diligent effort by the relief crews, a
visitor would never guess that the undead had ever plagued the
streets. This will be the Hang 'Em High's maiden voyage since it
was commissioned a year and a half ago. Ellie Swift has offered
her services as ship's Captain in the interim and has provided
you her crew from her fishing Buss "Ardor", but it is on your
mission list to recruit a suitable captain and crew.
As you approach the docks, you see the brilliant white sails of
the "Hang 'Em High" with the banner of the Fallen Star Company
  HTML http://dndgurnee.createaforum.com/fallen-star-company/the-fallen-star-company/<br
/>proudly displayed. Asmundr deeply exhales in relief and
exclaims, "We're back on the saddle again boys!"
As you ride up to the Carrack. You see Padre Dahm Redonde, a
traveling priest of the temple of Corellon, his retinue of
       friars, and his bodyguard Pujols
  HTML http://dndgurnee.createaforum.com/npc's/pujols/
       ready for their
voyage home. Dahm is a somewhat portly man, almost always with a
jovial expression, he wears some of the finest leather armor any
of you have seen, with a cape adorned with Corellon's Star. He
has a larger-than-life personality, and has become many peoples'
personal hero around Grand Halen. Many of the people have taken
to calling him "Padre". You and he have been working
hand-in-hand to take out the remaining undead threats and purify
the land. Asmundr and he have become close friends over the last
few months, and has hosted him in the Fallen Star Inn and Castle
Roth's Hold several times. Pujols is a tall, muscular man, with
rippling muscles (you know this because he is shirtless absurdly
often). He has nearly no body hair except for a voluminous white
mustache. He has taken an oath of silence in service to
Corellon, he seems absolute in his conviction to protect Padre
       Redonde.
Asmundr grabs Padre's hand and says, "It was a blessing to have
you here Dahm! You're services and leadership have done miracles
for Grand Halen over the last couple years!".
Padre replies, "Asmundr, Clunk, Campnella, Lyrinna it's been a
pleasure working with you all, we've done some serious work
here, Corellon would be proud." He pauses for a second and
continues, "Anything to realize Rognvaldr's vision of a free and
peaceful land is just work..." The atmosphere between these two
sinks sullen, he continues "It's a travesty what happened in
       Impiltur..."
Asmundr hesitates and replies more softly, "I'm sure he'd have
said it was all worth it, he was always looking to the future."
*You all reflect on your knowledge that on the night of the
final battle at Taum Bay City in Impiltur, King Rogvnaldr was
struck down by a black arrow, he survived for several hours
before he was finished by the arrow's poison, giving orders and
guidance to Queen Oswynn and her generals until his dying
breath.... Queen Chryserys now sits on the throne at
       Bardertown.*
After a few minutes of unloading gear and settling into your
cabins, Ellie yells, "Come on, you're not paying me enough to
sit around in dock, let's get this thing over with it's peak
herring season!" after you all scramble in, the crew cast off
and set full sails to Ilha Mercador.

Recap: The Hang 'em High's travel to Ilha Mercador went
smoothly. You passed through the Northern pass, seeing small
sailing vessels go in and out of ports on the small outter-rim
       islands.
On the way you met a peculiar merchant peddling too wide of a
variety of goods for you to catalog. His hair cut in a clean
bowl; his groin covered with silken short-knickers; his smooth,
hairless chest completely exposed, and his bulbous nose gently
       tanned by the spring sun.
As you arrived in port Asmundr and Ellie Swift's crew managed
affairs on the Hang 'Em, and sent you out to reconnoiter. Just a
few hundred meters from where you docked, you see a band of
ruffians come at you with weapons drawn. You can see their ship
down the dock readying for an escape.
Asmundr yells at you from topdeck, "We had intruders onboard!
Did you notice anything out..." he notices the puddles of enemy
viscera and the approaching guards, "oh... very well." Asmundr
makes his way over to the group.
The guards address Cobra do Mar, "Thanks Mar, we'll handle the
captives from here.... OH if it isn't Captain Goerges! Olleh'll
be up in arms that we were the ones who caught this little
piggy, what's he up to over in these parts anyway? Well, we'll
take good care of Georgy here."
After crushing your foe, you meet Cobra do Mar, and reunite with
       your old friend Geoffrey.
*Everyone make a perception check with vision, mind you it is
Dim Light conditions, so you will have disadvantage for this*

*FYI Cobra do Mar is more like a title or alias than a name...
lit. "snake of the seas". My character's actual name is Viriato
Asturios, though people call me Cobra do Mar or Sea-snake
       Asturios*
Before the guards arrive, Viriato introduces himself to the
party. Wiping the blood from his rapiers, he says: "Well met,
friends. I am Dom Viriato de Asturios, captain of Senhora
Rosalie. Around here, many call me Cobra do Mar, or Sea-snake
Asturios. But you may call me Viri." He extends his hand in
greeting. "I thank you for your assistance in dealing with these
sea-rats... you are formidable fighters, indeed. These
scoundrels have been troubling these waters for quite some time,
and I am glad to see them running scared. Bad for business, you
       know?"
As the guards arrive and attempt to take Georgey into custody,
Viriato steps between the guards and his prisoners. "Not so
fast, sir. These are my captives, and if you wish to take them
into your custody, you will have to pay me their ransom; I won't
be doing your job for you without due pay. 25 gold for each of
the rats, and 100 for their Rat King. Unless of course you want
to end up like that fellow..." Viriato nods towards the dead man
floating in the water, and then looks back over his shoulder
towards the pool of blood, bone and guts that Clunk left, "or
like that fellow, I suggest you not make a fuss." Viriato looks
back towards Clunk's kills and muses, "Or, were those fellows?
Well, I suppose it's too hard to say, no?"
       *Intimidation: 15 (d20) + 4 (CHA) + 8 (Expertise) = 27*

the elder guard finally comes out and says, "Look, we can't have

a little while, we'll ask the Judge Pavor what we can do, I

*Clunk notices that Viri's swords, though well worn, are of a
rather fine make. Additionally, he appears to wear some sort of
signet ring on his left hand, and an emblem on the back of the
long orange vest he wears over his studded leather armor seems
to you to be much like a heraldic charge.*

Geoffrey takes his time getting over to the group, casually
removing the coin purses from the corpses (or in some case
puddles). When he gets close enough, he tosses the pouches
gently to Clunk, Lyrina, and Viri.
"What a time to meet you all. It seems like some things really
do not change," Geoffrey now next to Lyrina and Clunk. Geoffrey
taps Clunks metal chest with the back of his fist, "nice smash
       Clunk."
Geoffrey pauses to take a second and look over the scene forming
where the group's possible new ally is.

"I'm happy I managed to find you all. Rumors travel fast around
here, and I'd heard some whisperings about a giant metal man
expected before the week's end - something told me this would be
Clunk at least." Geoffrey makes sure to also wave at Asmundr.
"And the rumors travelling fast is also precisely why I'm here,
but we can talk about that more later."
When Geoffrey notices the guard in the back whispering
something, instead of trying to hear him, over the sound of
water and gulls, he reads his lips.

Geoffrey reads, "Mario, our day shift ends in a few moments here
anywas, you and I could grab this guy for his price, and head
over to Olleh, they'd buy him for a bunch more than 100 gold
       wouldn't they?"
The boss whispers back, "Ah jeez... I don't know Moco, I mean, a
hundred gold... that's quite a risk, how much did they post for
Captain Georges? I know he was causing troubles over there,
       but..."
Mario returns, "Well, we'd at least get our money back if he's
been harassing Cormyr too, he must be pretty serious trouble out
       West."
After a short while, the Guard leader steps up and says somewhat
uncertainly, "You know what, we'll take him off ya, you can
continue on with whatever you were up to, just give me a moment
to get you that, it looks like 150 gold? You owe me 75 Moco."
Asmundr comes out from the Hang 'Em High, "GEOFFREY! Long time
no see! Did you resolve all your affairs down South. Boy, I
thought I'd never see you again!" He approaches and attempts to
       give Geoffrey a hug.

Geoffrey shifts his attention away from the guards and towards
Asmundr, *Uncontested check?* and simply returns an
       affectionate gesture.
"It is good to see you too Asmundr, although I'm not sure you
can call my business down South 'resolved'. In fact I was hoping
that you and the others might help me at some point."
Then he turns back around and nods towards Viri: "Do you guys
       know him?"
