       Aisha Shepard

       Aisha is Jack Shepard's eldest child. Born in the Skywash in
       Calimshan, she and her mother moved to Bardertown when her
       father became Lord Commander of the Buards. From an early age,
       she showed an aptitude for sword fighting, and she joined the
       buards at the age of 14, the minimum age for enlistment. Four
       years later, she remains at the rank of footman, though she has
       been recommended for promotion several times.
       Asmundr has known her since they were both children. She always
       beat him in duels, and disapproved of his constant galavanting
       in taverns, instead of attending to his own training.
       Asmundr most recently encountered her when she arrived with
       several other Bardertown refugees at Dragon Falls, among them
       her mother and young brother. Though she was asked to join the
       Fallen Star Company in its quest, she refused, since leaving
       Rognvaldr and her family would mean spurning her duty as a buard
       and as a daughter.
