Without looking at you, Thirteen raises his hand, with his thumb
and forefinger barely apart.
"This close. This... Fucking close... From... From being like
those poor fuckers splattered on the floor down there..." His
voice quavers as he sniffs back tears. "I don't know how you lot
do it, you know? My parry was on time... It was THERE! But it
didn't matter, he split that sword like butter... What am I
supposed to do against that? Against any of this?"

Taking a seat " One at a time still seems very difficult even if

Asmundr takes out his Sitar and begins to strum. In an attempt
to soothe him, I cast Bastion of Mental Clarity on Thirteen,
granting him a share of my dual-soul, giving him advantage on
charmed and fear effects. Asmundr says, "This is a songof
overcoming great odds, following the righteous path, and
fantastic adventure, perhaps we can gain some inspiration from
the words of this traditional Grand Halen tune." Asmundr begins

As you mime reverb to close the song, you notice that Thirteen
is snoring soundly, with a peaceful look on a face dry of tears.

Meanwhile, in the dining room...

Hearing an inspiring rock ballad echoing down the corridors, you
all suddenly feel inspired to greatness. Raedwald seems
especially affected. He stands from his chair, his face a mix of
joy and disbelief.
"Incredible!" he says, as the song reaches its highest heights.
"I have not heard such a tune in a thousand years! Truly, it
seems I had forgotten these small joys which are so prevalent in
the Southern Lands. We must not fail to defend the people of
Damara, for they, too, have such wonderful songs."

Finding the room that was shown before by Lord Raedwald, I am
surprised to hear the most angelic music coming from inside.
Opening the door seeing Asmundr playing his instrument and
singing slowing makes my iron face show a smile. In a reluctant
manner I move my feet in small steps until I find a bed that can
support me I lay down and prepare for the morning.
(PS i feel a roll 20 in the near future would be helpful to get
us to the next step and help us figure out what we has a party
really wish to do)

from his backpack and takes a drink of water. Is there anything
going on?
