Blaster listens quietly to what you have to say, taking a swig
now and again from a leather flask tied to his hip. After you
have finished, he sighs, and says, with a quiet, calm demeanor,
"Ravver stay by Rogny's side, what wiff demons and whatnot
runnin about. But this here is bigger'n all that, so's I sense.
Won't be needin no loot, just so long as ya keep the skibby
comin. Dat big ol orc's got a lot of strength, but I fink our
goals are even closer than you imagine. Just tell me what you
need lifted and who you need put down. I'll take care of it
right quick."
The big orc listens to what you say as well, though you can tell
he grows impatient with every word. As soon as you have
finished, he says, "You do not need to tell me these things. I
know them well. I will travel with you now, though I may leave
to gather my people soon."
During your hunt with Billy, you manage to scare off most of the
animals he had been tracking before you even catch sight of
them. Billy laughs good naturedly about it, however, and tries
to show you how to move quietly. When you present him with these
gifts, he is overwhelmed, and kneels and bows his head before
you. You sense that he is frightened again by your telepathic
communications, but less so than the first time you attempted
it. You are unsure if he got your meaning, but before you part
ways for the night, he again points to his chest, and then to
you.
In the morning, as you set out, the air is crisp and cool. The
forest is wreathed in wispy fog, and there is little by way of
sound but for the rustling of the leaves, the rushing of the
river, and the whickering of your horses and bison. Thorax walks
alongside the bison, refusing all your offers of a mount or
vehicle. His eyes seem drawn to the big draft animal, and he
inspects it with some great curiosity. Billy rides in front of
your caravan, and his head is tilted back as he looks ever
upward at the mountain range before you. Every now and then he
looks subtly over his shoulder, apparently at Thorax. Blaster
lounges in the back of the wagon, sipping from his canteen. At
one point the stillness of the forest is broken as Blaster lets
out a mighty belch, scaring some crows off of a nearby branch,
who go cawing off into the trees. Thorax glares at Blaster
disapprovingly, though you think you hear a chuckle come from
Billy's direction.
As you pass through the wyvern cave, Billy detects no trouble—
it seems that whatever kobolds dwelt here fled when the Wyvern
was slain. As you reach the cave's exit, you see the great
corpse of the wyvern being picked apart by crows. They scatter
when they hear your horses' hooves on the rocky floor. Billy
halts and dismounts, and you see him approach the stinging tail
of the dead wyvern. He draws his dagger an fiddles around a bit,
and withdraws some of the wyvern's potent venom into two small
vials. He slips them into a pouch around his belt, and then
climbs back onto his horse. You see what you think is a faint
smile flash across Thorax's face as he watches Billy.
You approach the Impilturian camp, and three knights ride out to
meet you and escort you back. There you find Si'Thuum, Lyrina,
Geoffrey, and Gasputin, all gathering their weapons from another
knight. Billy rides over to Geoffrey, and offers him one of the
vials of venom which he procured.
*Colton you now have 1 vial of wyvern venom: Any creature
subjected to this venom must make a DC 15 Con saving throw,
taking 7d6 poison damage on a failed save, or half as much
damage on a successful one.*

"Friends, it has been a little while since I've seen you. It
looks like you are doing well. There is much for us to discuss."
Asmundr greets his party as he dismounts his horse. He moves
everyone to the back of the wagon to continue their talk and
passes out food and drink. "We have been liberated from the
crown of Grand Halen. I hope this does not disturb any of you
too much, but I saw that it was in all of our best interests;
adventuring under an empty contract is meaningless and
restricting. We are now a sovereign party, although we don't
have the few protections of the crown, we have none of the
limitations."
"Billy and Blaster are full member now and will share every
advantage and responsibility that comes with that station. I
suppose we will have to decide what those advantages and
responsibilities are now too." Asmundr chuckles in excited
anticipation.
"I promised Thorax to take him to the North of Damara to reunite
what he can of his people. Beyond this, we are free to do as we
see fit. I should hope to help remedy the dire situation brought
about by this... fiend that was unleashed in the North, but I
have no clue where to begin, perhaps it is just too far out of
our reach."
"As I see it, this group is ours equally, I offer my services to
direct its administration and affairs, but if there is anything
you wish to achieve from our company, then be free to speak
up..." Asmundr pauses,
"It seems to me we are also devoid of a name for our
enterprise..."

Here's a recap of all important events that you know are going
on right now:
A physical incarnation of the god Bane and an army of demonic
orcs are somewhere near the Great Glacier, though their current
movements are unknown
The last holdouts of Aglarond have fallen to the undead armies
of Thay.
The Shou Empire has declared war on High Imaskar, and is quickly
gaining the upper hand.
You have not heard anything from Narfell in a long time, and
last you heard they were dealing with Demons invading from the
Dunwood.
Impiltur is embroiled in Civil War over whether or not Queen
Anneleise is the true queen, with the major noble houses split
down the middle in terms of support.
Calimshan is also in a state of Civil War, with human
separatists attempting to eradicate the half orc population now
that Lurtz is dead.
The Turmish Republic and Chessenta are in open war in Akanul
Most of Cormyr's armies are currently occupying Denerim. The
Lord Commander of the Purple Dragon Knights told you that he
will try to divert his King's attention to the more immediate
threat of Bane, but the King is beside himself since he received
news of his son's death.
Damara's capital, Helgabal, was nearly destroyed by the orcs
under Thorax's command. King Yarin Frostmantle was killed in the
fighting, and his son and the few other survivors have retreated
to Bloodstone Pass, on the border with Vaasa.
Here's a recap of the prophecy you've gotten so far:
"'Look to the North,' he said. 'There will be blood on the snow.
The strength of men shall not succeed. But there is another
way.'" The Diem, through Rognvaldr
"Death comes from the East, and behind it a Fiery Wind. Iron
will be your salvation, but do not trust in the strength of
men." The Diem, to Asmundr
The tapestries in Mintar, the village you came to after crossing
the lake of steam, depicted you heroes standing on a large orb
while men and evil creatures did battle below.
