       A massive fungal forest growing larger every day. The Shaar
       Desolation to its southeast is the result of Shaar's desperate
       attempts to stave off its encroachment.
       Prolonged exposure to the spores produced by the fungi is deadly
       to nearly all life. It is still possible to traverse the
       periphery of the mushroom forest due to lower spore density, but
       spending even a few days here can be hazardous to health. The
       deeper into the plaguewrought lands one travels, the more deadly
       it becomes, and there are rumors of mushrooms that move, and a
       great roaring that echoes across the fungi...
