Kalashtar look similar to humans, but their outward appearance
masks an inner demeanor that is at once serene and wild—cerebral
and mad.
The naturally telepathic kalashtar are often associated with
psionic abilities. As a result, it’s easy to overlook the
potential of the kalashtar and the diverse range of character
ideas it supports. The kalashtar aren’t simply psychic. They are
bound to renegade spirits driven from the plane of dreams. They
are tied to a legacy of dream and nightmare and a struggle to
shift the soul of the world itself. The story of the kalashtar
begins on another plane of existence: Dal Quor, the region of
dreams. When mortal creatures dream, their spirits fall into Dal
Quor and create bubbles on the fringes of the plane—pockets
formed by their hopes and fears.

Ability Score Increase. Your Charisma score increases by 2 and
either wisdom or intelligence increases by 1.
Age. Kalashtar reach adulthood around the same time as humans,
but their discipline and mental fortitude allows them to reach
ages well beyond a century old, despite having a human body.
Alignment. Kalashtar are good-hearted and community-oriented so
they tend to be good, most are LG or NG.
Size. Kalashtar tend to be more slender and taller than humans.
Your size is Medium.
Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.
Dual Soul. Your dual spirits help you remain calm and focused,
resisting spells that affect the mind, you gain advantage on
saving throws against charmed, frightened, as well as
possession.
Dreamless. You sleep normally, but your dual soul inhibits
dreaming. You are immune to effects that rely on the ability to
dream such as the Dream spell.
Probing Mind. Kalashtar are masters of social interaction,
influencing others through their commanding presence and subtle
psychic powers. Kalashtar have proficiency in Insight.
Telepathy. The Kalashtar mind can communicate telepathically
with any target that knows a language. The Kalshtar's Telepathic
range is 10xProficiency bonus feet.
Languages. Kalashtar know Quor and Common.
Bastion of Mental Clarity. Once per long rest you can cast
Bastion of Mental Clarity. Bastion of mental clarity uses your
Telepathic ability to calm and clear the minds of those around
you. Allies within range of your Telepathy gain advantage on
Frightened and Charmed saving throws.

Casting Time: 1 reaction, which you take when you see a creature
within range take a Wis, Cha, or Int saving throw
Range: Self (1/2 Telepathic Range Radius)
Components: V
Duration: 1 round
Psychic energy radiates from you in an aura within your
Telepathic radius,
strengthening the will of your allies' minds.
Until the spell ends, the aura moves with you, centered on you.
Allies within range gain advantage on Wisdom, Intelligence, and
Charisma saving throws until the end of your next turn.
