       A palace buard, Anders was placed in charge of the evacuation of
       the royal family during the undead attack on Bardertown. As
       such, he was one of the only palace buards accounted for when
       the Bardertown refugees regrouped in Dragon Falls. Because of
       his seniority, and because Jack Shepard remained unaccounted
       for, he was promoted by Rognvaldr to Lord Commander.
       A hard but loyal man, Anders did not get along well with the
       party. He became particularly irate at Asmundr's persistent
       attempts to override his authority with diplomacy, and nearly
       had Asmundr jailed for desertion when Asmundr chose to leave
       Dragon Falls for Damara.
