The Great Pachyderm Civil War
By: Rognvaldr Date: November 7, 2014, 6:08 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
In the year 1494YR, the great Pachyderm Lords of the realm waged
a fierce Civil War. With the death of their lord and demi-god,
Gammesharr, power had decentralized amount the Pachyderms.
Although Gammesharr was a terrible tyrant and was insensitive to
the needs of the Pachyderm world, he had assured stability and
safety. Utwe of the North was among the young princes in a
closely related Noble line. Hailing from far northern Damara and
Narfell, his herd had raised to substantial strength, toughened
by the climate of the polar landscape. Rumors reached him that
Gilgamesh of the South, an inheritor of Gammesharr's, had
aspirations to claim the throne for Pachyderm kind. Utwe knew,
however, that even though Gilgamesh had a kind heart the power
of the throne of Pachydermatia could not be wielded.
Gammesharr's soul was bound to this site, and the moment
Gilgamesh were to claim his crown, he would no longer be
himself.
Utwe was forced to march upon his compatriot and combat him at
Chondolwood, the site of Pachyderm authority. After a grueling
fight, Utwe finally came out ahead and slayed his childhood
friend Gilgamesh.
