       Ascending to Godhood

       Rumors tell of a man who recieved 100 rolls of 20 on a 20 sided
       die. Upon achieving this feat, his body was left on Faerun, an
       empty shell. His celestial form had hatched from that shell and
       ascended to the Astral Plane. His friends at the game table that
       night at first where shocked and traumatized. The men began
       weeping over the loss of their table-mate, but they soon looked
       into eachothers eyes in realization. They knew that the shell of
       a man left on the ground was never their friend, it was just the
       result of statistical probabilities over the lifetime of the
       Multiverse. His true form, a being of pure chance, completely
       fair and just, had finally been realized. No longer would their
       ascended friend need to heed dice rolls, nor coin flips, nor any
       other measure of chance. He now sees the outcomes of all events,
       he knows whether it be head, tails, 1, 20, death, life,
       everything he sees, but this ascended man cares not. These sorts
       of issues are far below him now, with the merest inkling he
       could change 1 to a 20, life to death, but he has no will to.
       His form, his mind, his thoughts, his worries and concerns are
       all far greater than what we mortals or even the gods of the
       multiverse can comprehend.
       He is the one truly free being.
