In the week that passed, Geoffrey has yet to speak to Sheppard
or any other members of the court. Partly he fears to be
chastised again, but also has a sinking feeling that, even if he
should be complimented, let alone commended, for his actions on
that dark day, the responsibility he would bear would suddenly
become too great. For he did not really save the King, or anyone
       else, just killed a man.
To avoid all of this Geoffrey departed from town with several
bottles of rum, promising to return by the end of the week.

*Colton, has Geoffrey returned by now?*
Blaster recalls that Mary Ironarm of the Adventure's End Tavern
makes some damn good skibby. The Hogsfoot also had some pretty
good skibby, but it was pretty badly damaged when the airship
crashed in the street next to it. As for gossip, you know that a
lot of buards who are trying to track down criminals will go
undercover in the Winking Maiden, a tavern outside the walls and
       down near the docks.

Lyrina is vaguely impressed by Blaster's love of skibby, or
maybe horrified, she can't really tell. Blaster has proven to be
rather entertaining, especially while drunk, so she replies
with, "Off to Hogsfoot it is" and proceeds to find the most
       convenient exit.

You make your way the main doors at the end of the hall. The
guards open them for you as you approach, and you are greeted by
a pleasantly warm but somewhat rainy afternoon. The sky is a
little darkened by clouds in areas, but in others you can see
beautiful shafts of golden sunlight piercing down towards the
       country side.

"Gruagh tufff...arse-warf... hmmmf" Blaster vocalizes in a low
       rumbling mumble.

You know that the way to the docks is around the back of the
palace, down the hill and out the lower gate. As you head in
that direction, you notice that the streets are much less
crowded than you're used to, though there are even more buards
out and about than you've ever seen. The paving stones are a
little slick with rain, and as you descend the hill behind the
palace you can hear the light trickling of water in the gutters.
As you come to the lower gate, you're approached by a sergeant.
"Hello, sir. Going to the docks, are you?" He asks.

*I actually said that we're going to go to the Hogsfoot first,
       but we'll roll with this.*
"Oiey, Aye shur am sir! What bisnuss is goin down there
       tonight?"

*Hahaha woops, I guess I read the Arse-warf in your grumbles and
       thought "docks!"*
"Nothing out of the ordinary to report, sir. We have a merchant
vessel from Cormyr in, what's brought that boy in the purple
dragon pyjamas that went up to the palace. He must be some kind
of fighter though— looks like these goods haven't even been
touched by them Guild Pirates. You're free to go, sir, just
wanted to remind you that we'll be barring the gates for the
night at sundown, so be sure to be inside before then." He tips
his helm and returns to his post.
