       Purple Dragon Knights of Cormyr

       The Purple Dragon Knights of Cormyr

       are the
       most elite soldiers in all of Faerun. They go through a rigorous
       training and introduction period to become embodiments of the
       Hero Suzail

       />founder of the Order.
       To become part of the Order, one must be personally recognized
       by the King or Queen of Cormyr, the General of the Knights, for
       services done to the Crown, worthy of the blessings of Bahamut
       and Torm. Most "commonly" recruits come from the military, but
       the Order's diversity is what makes it strong, while loyalty
       keeps it together.
       Recruits then undergo physical and psychological tempering in
       The Forge, a mountain fortress west of Suzail, for 3-5 years.
       When these dedicated Knights emerge they are given their final
       task. They are to make their Pilgrimage from Suzail to the Well
       of Dragons, and bring back a dragon scale alone.
       As a token of their devotion, the Knight is presented with
       silver armor, similar to the designs of Suzail, and a weapon is
       crafted from the dragon scale they retrieved.
