Declaration on website and literature

Most of my clients contact me by telephone or email. I have a
talk or email exchange and then they come to my counselling
room. I have a picture of this on my website. I have not had
any special request so far, I think this may be because I do not
have a statement on my website.
I will do this as soon as. It will read;
I am aware of diversity and discrimination issues and follow the
Equality Act 2010. I will act with appropriate and reasonable
action and make adjustments where required if you feel
discrimination or you have been treated unfairly. I will make
it a priority to ask if my clients have any requirements.
Again, something I had not considered and will make the changes
to my website and future literature.

Like you Vic, most of my clients contact me via email, sometimes
over the phone. We exchange whatever information is needed and
then we arrange an appointment.
Over the years I've seen clients from various backgrounds and
nationalities but I think it also depends where you live and how
multicultural your area is. I haven't had any particular request
either so I guess I never considered it either.
That's a good statement you came up with :)

Thank you, it has become more apparent to me this kind of thing
is important :)
