       The full question: How important is it, in your opinion, for a
       therapist to have taken specialist training in working with
       transgender issues in order to work with a transgender client?
       I think it probably would be a good idea; just to be aware of
       the problems transgender people may experience.

       Yes, I also think it would be beneficial for the therapist to
       have specialist training.
       There may be issues specific to transition that occur and
       because this is a relatively new area, we may not be familiar
       with it.  There may also be certain words that are used and
       medical procedures to take into account.
