EVERYTHING IS DELETED!!!

I simply can't believe this..after having electricity
problems,my pc decided to delete every single file.Which
means,all my videos are LOST.Geez,i had just finished 2 mep
parts(Mr Brightside)and an other one,and now,everything is lost
>:( >:( >:(
I just re-downloaded SV again,but i don't know when i;ll be back
editing because,among with the other files,some very important
video codes were deleted and now i have no image on my
computer-only sound :-\
Does anyone know how to fix this?PLus,i don't have internet
either,i only can go online from my dad's laptop..

The only solution I know of is that I believe files can be
restored if you had previously backed them up ? ? ?
But I'm not sure :\

I managed to have all my movies back and i downloaded SV
again,but now the stupid "imortant codec which you can't see any
video without having them" are missing and i can't edit :(
Geez,and i just had finished 2 videos..now they are gone >:(
(i know i am bitching about this ALL the time but it is really
annoying!)

This is so bad!!!
Anyway, when I installed SV on my mom's laptop, I had the same
problem as you: I could only hear the sound but I couldn't watch
the video.
But I installed a divx codec and everything worked.
I uploaded mine on sendspace, you can try to install it and
maybe you'll problem will be fixed

No, it shouldn't need any internet connection, you just have to
install it! I hope it will solve your problem! :D
