       BIO
       Born and raised in the secret settlement of Dwimovel, in the
       Sekamina realm of The Darklands. As a child of noble parents,
       Gehkt and Svil, Zarzu was brought up to follow in his fathers
       foot steps as being an aristocrat and follow in the usual
       Svirfneblin traditions of protecting the world above from the
       horrors of below, but Zarzu was far from being as charismatic
       and well liked as his father. He spent a lot of time wondering
       about the servents quarters and market places around the
       settlements in the shadows so as to not be seen and to lower the
       risk to any damage he could cause to his parent reputation.
       He became fascinated by an old Alchemist by the name of Wazhe
       Smhokin. He would spend hours watching Wazhe through the windows
       of he Shop's lab. Little to Zarzu's knowledge, Wazhe had known
       for quite a while that he was being watched and one day snuck
       out after dealing with a customer and crept up on Zarzu and
       yelled "Surprise!" right next to Zarzu scaring the shit out of
       him. Wazhe invited Zarzu to learn with him about alchemy, how to
       create potions and all about the chemicals used for explosives,
       sources of light, acids and even the frowned upon art of
       poisons.. Zarzu took a liking to alchemy and decided to become
       an alchemist him self. Wazhe also tought Zarzu about his diety,
       Norgorber The blackfinger, God of poisons, he also had a shrine
       hidden below his lab as worshiping Norgorber is widely frowned
       upon. Zarzu was enthral about the stories of Norgorber that he
       decided he too will worship him.
       When he wasn't sneaking off to work with Wazhe he was being
       taught how to fight, by a rather shady looking old fellow named
       Hektyr Wydrange who was well know through the settlement as a
       retired adventurer who spent a lot of his time exploring
       Sekamina with his famed party called Plunderers of the Dark. He
       was hired by Zarzu's father Gehkt in order to teach Zarzu about
       combat incase the need arised because no noble is without
       enimies. He taught Zarzu a lot about how to take advantage of
       opponents weak points, how to read the flow of combat, to pay a
       lot of attention to the surroundings and especially how to
       disarm, create and place traps. Hektyr told Zarzu many stories
       of his adventuring days and it seduced Zarzu into the idea of
       being an adventurerer himself one day.
       One day on his way home from working with Wazhe, Zarzu witnessed
       a city guard in a back alley (which Zarzu always took to avoid
       being seen) beating on some homeless kids who had stole some
       sweets from the market place, Zarzu just watched at first
       because it wasn't his fight, it had nothing to do with him. Then
       he witnessed  the city guard take out his sword and run through
       one of the kids. A frightful hate grew in Zarzu's stomach at the
       sight and before he realized what he was doing Zarzu had drawn
       the dagger in which he keeps on himself for protection if
       needed, snuck up on the guard and stabbed him in the kidnies
       before he could do the same to the other kid. as the guard
       keeled over the kid took off and Zarzu was shaking in disbelief
       of what he had done, after a minute of it sinking in Zarzu
       hurriedly hid the body of the guard in a nearby junk pile and
       scurried off home.
       Over the next few months Zarzu noticed a lot of shady stuff
       happening around the settlement that involved the guards, things
       like bribes and assaults, and shaking down vendors for
       protection money. This caused Zarzu to have very little respect
       for authority and he would occasionally bait the odd guard here
       and there into targeting himself through means of pick pocketing
       in the market etc. just to humiliate or on some occasions fight
       them.
       On his 40th birthday, when he was finally considered an adult in
       his own right, Zarzu refused to take part in the nobles
       tradition of dueling using daggers (first to bleed loses) as a
       celebration for becoming an adult, Gehkt goaded Zarzu, until
       Zarzu no longer refused and demanded the Gehkt be his first duel
       out of anger. While dueling his father, Zarzu in a fit of anger
       struck his father a fatal blow to the throat.
       As punishment for killing his own father and opposing the noble
       social traditions, Zarzu was exiled from the settlement, never
       to return, he decendents may return to the city but he may not.
       He was only allowed to live as he was the only one able to carry
       on his name.
       Before he left the settlement he was allowed to gather some
       equipment for survival and say his goodbyes. When he was saying
       goodbye to Wazhe, Wazhe gave him a master worked viridium kukri,
       he said "this was once mine from my days travelling and learning
       about alchemy. I want you to have it. You have a great knack for
       poisons and I've seen you training with Hektyr so I'm sure you
       will be able to use it some day if you keep up your training.
       Farewell good friend" Zarzu replied "Thank you! and thank you
       for teaching me in the last few years. I couldn't take this as a
       present so I will pay for it as repayment for all you taught me.
       I think I might go and see the world above and seek more
       alchemical knowledge and hopefully send what I find to you to
       repay you for teaching me. Farewell Wazhe"
       Zarzu set off and headed for the surface, after about 4 years of
       traveling through the darklands and having quite a few run ins
       with dwarves, kobalds, drow, dark folk, derros, mongrelmen,
       morlocks, troglodytes, vegepygmies and the odd serpent folk here
       and there he finally made his way out of The Darklands in
       Andoran from the Candlestone Caverns. He then eventually made
       his way to the capital Almas where he began searching for
       alchemical knowledge. During his search in the capital he
       procured work in an alchemy store creating items and potions for
       an income while he spent his personal time in libraries and
       conversing with alchmists.
       After spending 2 years in and around the capital Almas, on a
       dark quiet night while in the plains to the north east of Almas,
       Zarzu  came across a shady looking human while collecting
       molasses root to make into a paste for poisons, this person was
       also collecting molasses root and causiously approched Zarzu,
       Zarzu greeted them and stayed on guard as this human looked very
       untrustworthy, but sparked up a coversation with Zarzu about
       molasses root. During the conversation poisons were brought up
       by the human name Lopper, Zarzu began asking about poisons
       enthusiastically and explain to Lopper that he was searching for
       alchemical knowledge, mostly on the poison side of things.
       Lopper was also very enthusiastic about poisons. Over the next
       few days they spent time together gathering molasses and
       conversing about different poisons and Lopper told Zarzu all
       about the Daggermark poisoners guild. Lopper told Zarzu if he is
       ever in the area he should join them and that he would need to
       donate 100gp worth of poison to the guild to qualify to join
       them. They also conversed about their faiths, Zarzu was
       surprised to find Lopper also worshipped Norgorber the black
       finger as the only other person Zarzu has ever met that
       worshipped Norgorber was the one who taught him about norgorber,
       Wazhe.
       So Zarzu now knew that he would also aspire to join the
       Daggermark poisoners guild to further his knowledge of poisons.
       Description
       Zarzu stands 3'5, pale blueish grey skin. Wearing a dulled short
       sleaved chain shirt, dark brown cotton pants with concealed
       pockets, long open sleaved black cotton shirt under the chain
       shirt, wrist sheaths on each arm concealed under the sleaves of
       the cotton shirt, one with a dagger and the other with a kukri,
       two bandoliers over my shoulders each with 4 empty vials in
       them, a belt with two belt pouches, an cestus and sling both
       tied on to his belt, some well worn black boots  and a long
       leather and cotton reversible coat the comes down to his calfs
       (dark brown leather side out most of the time, royal blue cotton
       side out to look nicer for fancy shit).
       Facial feature - really short light grey hair often spiked up on
       top, thick short beard and mustache, large sullen eyes, short
       wide nose, tattooed around the eye in black with a straight line
       going down from the center below the eye finishing centre of his
       checks in line with his mouth and a short black line from corner
       of eyes toward his ear across the cheek bone, mirrored on each
       side of the face
