On paper a more even game. Need to get ebou to hoof Barry Bannon
up in the air early doors to stop him scoring his usual goal.
We're going to get revenge for their spawny result at PP. 0-1 at
       the stadium of victoriana...

Disappointing result and it sounds like it was a game too far in
the congested Christmas period. But these are the games that are
going to define our season not a gallant narrow defeat to table
       toppers.

Opted not to watch the full game, after opting not to attend the
Leeds game prior to this but saw the main chances / goals on
       Soccer Saturday.
Did I miss anything outside of that, or was it yet more entirely
one dimensional play that people will confuse with 'good
       football'?

We have played better attacking football in the last few games ,
except Leeds. Our issues were lack of finishing and slow
       defenders.

What constitutes 'better attacking football' though? Has it
created a wider variety of chances by being less one
dimensional, or has nigh on every single piece of play still
been focused on getting the ball wide to sling crosses in?
I don't consider being better at creating those opportunities to
be the same as playing better football, but being better at
       playing shit football.
Successfully carrying out a dire footballing philosophy doesn't
       stop it being awful.

There has been more passing and the first goal v West Brom was
well worked. There are some signs out there.

There are also some recurring themes like failing to react
quickly or at all to opponents spotting and exploiting glaring
       weaknesses.
Like surrendering our left flank by playing Sonny Bradley as a
wide lcb being "covered" by the ageing fozzie.
Who would have thought that would end well?
