Transfer Suggestions

With the success of Goudmijn, I thought I'd look for other
bargains from the smaller clubs in Eredivise.
AS we need a CF target man and some pace in midfield, I've got a
couple of affordable names. Both players are out of contract in
the summer, so we'd be hopefully in a position to get them on
the cheap in the January window. Both play for Sparta Rotterdam,
who pay players £2-3k a week.
In terms of a CF target man, Tobias Lauritsen (27) is a 6'4"
Norwegian who scored a dozen goals in each of the last 2 seasons
at around a goal every 2.5 games. Mobile not fast with a good
touch, he wouldn't set the league on fire but then again we
haven't got a set the league on fire budget.
Arno Verscheuren is a number 8 who can also play as a DCM or 10.
He has similar pace, stamina and strength to Adams but is a more
attacking player, scoring 9 goals in each of the last 2 seasons.
Hopefully these are within budget. Sadly neither played for
Rotherham 3 years ago.

I wouldn't mind if we tried to get Teemu Pukki on loan in
January. His team in MLS has a new forward who hogs all the
minutes and I believe Pukki could still do a proper job in
Championship. A short term loan but he would give us some goals
and his attitude for playing for the club is something that
everyone could learn from.
