What do you think of it so far? (24/25 season)

What do you think of our performances so far?
       What about the new signings?
Where do you think we will finish?

About par. Thought we'd beat Blackburn and get beat by Boro so
points are what I'd hoped and performances seem to be building.
       Well finish c13th I think.

I thought we'd get 1 point from the first 2 games, so ahead so
far. Still think we will be in a relegation scrap all season. 3
extra players needed or we'll be in real trouble.
The crowd v Boro was lower than I expected, less than 30k and
they sold out. Not as much enthusiasm as you'd expect.

We don't have much depth at all. And we can't rely on nicking
       1-0 wins.
I'm banking on Ozoh, Kenzo and Ebou forming a solid 3 in
midfield - think we'll need that.

It's hard to say seeing as I've not watched a full game yet this
season, but on paper it seems an OK start purely because we've
got that win. It was a win that showed we have potential for
'poohouse' victories even with a depleted back line, but then
Watford showed us how little you need to do wrong over the
course of a whole game to end up on the wrong end of a result.
We surely can't rely on oither teams having 15, 20+ shots and
not scoring against us, or our only goal threat coming from
       endless crosses or opposition mistakes.
I think Warne said something recently about making sure we don't
go losing 2, 3 in a row and I'd say he's spot on with that.
Solid performances in the face of defeats only ever last so long
in this division, and guarding against developing a losing
       mentality is of utmost importance.
That's where there's a bt of a quandry when it comes to Warne
though, on the face of it you see and read all this and all that
about his man management skills but historically whenever he's
faced testing times he's been unable to do anything to halt bad
runs except wait for a stroke of luck and/or a bit of individual
quality to alter the course. It never feels like he has an
answer to what ails us in terms of alterations to the gameplan.
How good is his man management in reality when he seems
incapable of incorporporating different personalities and
characters into the squad? Why is he seemingly incapable of
managing anyone other than 'pre-built good guys'? Are we too
nice? Will our lack of any sort edge be our undoing as the
       season goes on?
If there's one player that seems to sum that up it's Sonny
Bradley. In theory and to look at him he's a Type One on the
Bristol Stool chart (solid and hard to pass) but in reality he's
more of a type 5 (fluffy with ragged edges).

I can tell you are feeling better by comparing Sonny Bradley's
attributes to the Bristol Stool Chart.
       Classic Coconut.

It feels like we have an XI who will keep us mid table if they
       stay fit.
Other than in defence where Phillips, Fozzy and to an extent
Wilson would be a fine replacement and to an extent on the wing,
but if we lose Zetterstrom, Yates or one of Ozoh, Adams or
Goudmijn, they we look more bottom 6.
Osborn looks a signing a couple of years too late and Collins
looks unsubtle (the kindest word i could think of) at this
       level.
Hopefully at least one of these issues is resolved in the next
       window.

Paul Warne hasn't won any of his last 20 championship away
       games.

That's a wretched statistic. Needs to sort that or you're
effectively giving up on half the season before you start.

Ridiculous to change the QPR game to a Friday night at 8pm.
We never play them on a Saturday.
       Sky Sports is effing poo.
