Well, I have been scared more than a few times reading his books
along with S King he has a place somewhere on everyone's mantle
with at least one title. Will get back to write my thoughts on
his latest series the Jane Hawk books which I think are a must
read.Just finished the last to review and think it will be out
Feb/March or so so start in on the other ones!

Dean has a way about him. I love all his older stuff. The newest
I read from him was the Frankenstein series...Yes...it's been
awhile!

he traumatized me so bad with the one villan whose mother had
taken so many psychedelic/psychotropic drugs when she had him he
had weird powers and victimized homeless people I couldn't read
him for a while, lol but was glad when I came back and devoured
more of his books. I personally loved the Odd Tomas books and
the Jane Hawk ones are excellent. Even if between him and King
reinforcing my dislike of clowns, lol

Avid (rabid) reader. Like Dean Koontz's work over all. Have not
read any newer ones, sadly been way to busy with life. Maybe I
will take a few days off and read. . . some day.

I love Dean Koontz. His book of short stories "Strange Highways"
had a story in there called "Kittens". I read it years and years
ago... still think about it on occasion. Really stuck with me.
in the new site navigation confusion I got you agnd Ghost mixed
up in my mind with this comment, lol, I am sure this is probably
one of his emotionally scaring stays with you for th rest of
your life stories and must check it out asap!

I read everything by Koontz, King, and others for years but
found myself not wanting to hide in fiction after recovering
from many years of depression. Now I don't read much due to
cataracts. My attention span is shorter now, too, as I'm
thinking of things I should be doing instead.

I'm ashamed to say I don't think I've ever read anything by
him. I am a voracious reader. Not one day goes by that I don't
find the time to read. I'm not even sure I have a favorite
author. I read so many different kinds of books. Except romance.
I've never been much into that. If it's part of the larger
story, then that's fine.
The last series I read was V Wars by Johnathon Mayberry. Weird
books. Some are actual books, some in the series are graphic
novels. ~Shrugs~ like I said, eclectic tastes. I guess I should
look into some of Deans books, everyone raves about them.

Eclectic tastes? Were you the kid reading the back of the cereal
box at the breakfast table too, Knox?
If you want to see what Koontz is capable of, read the Chris
Snow novels, Fear Nothing, Seize the Night, and (if and when it
comes out) Ride the Storm. Watchers, Hideaway, and Midnight will
also richly repay the reader's efforts. The rest of his opus, in
my opinion, is a little catch-as-catch-can. Twilight Eyes was
written by Koontz, and is the one novel I have been unable to
finish.
