If a little person wants to be tossed for entertainment
purposes, that is their choice.
I can't see the fun in it myself. I'd rather binge watch
building implosions on youtube. Now THAT is entertainment.

I would think that the bar or whatever business that is going to
hold the tossing event has insurance? I would think being a
business they would have the sense to have the participants sign
a waiver releasing the business of all liability. So from the
start it would be known its dangerous. But then again... nothing
makes any sense most of the time.

Maybe they should poll dwarfs to see if they even want the bill.
Seems kinda high-handed of the Senator to introduce a bill on
their behalf, as if they are too incompetent to make their own
lifestyle decisions.

Them? You mean "him". A single dwarf is pushing for something
he believes in and gets a politician go to along with it. But
that does not mean this type of standing tall is what's needed.
He's trying to make it illegal for dwarfs to participate in an
activity, based on reasoning that is "for their own good".
Maybe he feels it demeans dwarfs to behave in such a way, but
that doesn't mean all dwarfs feel the same way. Maybe some
enjoy the twisted antics and attention. It's their choice, not
some unconnected person's, to decide if they want to get tossed
or not. I think dwarfs should choose to not participate instead
of banning the entertainment.
I would no more want dwarf legislation than women's rights be
dictated by a minority in our own ranks - for our own good and
all.
