he's like those old woods stories you hear, he had some kind of
help because there was no reason for him to be in that good of
condition or alive at all, he was caught in a thorn bush

This little guy is the same age as my youngest grandson. I am so
happy they found him safe. These little people are quick and
have minds of their own, never turn your back, and if you can't
see or hear them, you better run!

This has come up so much and is crazy but the alternative would
have been death in subzero weather for this amount of time: This
tike is vehement over the tale of a bear buddy with him. Did the
little guy have help be it Gentry or local? Or was it a friendly
black bear mistaking him for a hairless cub in need? He is
swearing a bear was his friend and kept him warm and safe & you
can tell by that look on his little face he isn't going to back
down on it. This is so Appalachian tales from the Celts but
maybe a real animal too, something kept him alive. More at site

"The FBI, along with almost 600 volunteers, marines, state
officials, police and divers, were drafted in to search for
Casey amid heavy rain and strong winds.
The tot was found calling for his mother about a quarter of a
mile away, 40 to 50 yards deep into woods. Officers had to wade
through nearly waist-deep water to get to Casey.
Aside from a few scratches, he was found in good health.
While recuperating in hospital, Casey told his parents he spent
the days with a bear.
“Casey is healthy, smiling, and talking. He said he hung out
with a bear for two days,” his aunt Breanna Hathaway posted on
Facebook.
“God sent him a friend to keep him safe. God is a good god.
Miracles do happen."
