I'm very pleased that she wasn't afraid to tell someone after it
happened. Who knows how many people this monster has attacked.

Didn't she get warned by her parents not to ever get into a
stranger's vehicle?? In this day and age, it's bewildering that
any child would be so naive to do so. She was lucky that
something worse didn't happen.
