anti-depressant Paxil and other drugs.

dog’s medication,” prosecutors wrote. Last weekend, the
sheriff’s office got a warrant to search Witt’s truck and

Witt’s attorneys argued to exclude the bottle from the case, and
Judge Michael Adler agreed. Prosecutors had argued that while
Xanax was in Witt’s system, they weren’t made aware of the
veterinary records indicating Lola’s prescription until this
month.

I am not a fan of bicyclists myself. They want to share the road
but don't want to follow the rules. Not saying all of them are
that way... but the ones I've come across are road hogs that
don't follow the rules.
I'm sorry this lady died cause of Miss Witt's idiotic choices.
And poor Lola! I bet she's all sorts of anxious without her meds
and her owner.

And Bend has way to many cyclists. It's surprising that she only
hit one.

Bend has too many of everything these days. I love the place,
but dammit, so does everyone else! I'm curious why the dog
needed Xanax?

I'm pretty sure it was her who needed the Xanax; not her dog.
Sometimes there is a genuine need when the animal is so anxious
it can't be examined or treated. Some dogs are terrified of
storms, etc.
Anyone else surprised that the officer hadn't "gotten the memo"
that people are now doing this? Getting meds for their dog, but
it's actually for them? It's a thing, so I would've thought all
LE agencies would be aware of it.

The thought would never occur to me to use my dog as a conduit
for drugs! Is it me? ;)
