Wow, nice! I always wanted artistic talent so badly, but I can't
transfer what is in my head to paper or other art medium. I was
good at drawing from photographs and ads and the like, but I
lost interest in that a long time ago. I really admire those who
do have that ability.

Same here [member=40]Satanica[/member]...I can play a couple
instruments (didgeridoo and the jaw harp) but that's it for me!

I took piano lessons for 12 years and was quite proficient. My
senior and last recital was Rhapsody in Blue for two pianos
which I performed with another senior pupil.
But, alas, that was something else that threw out with the
bathwater after I left home. I played a little on a piano in the
lobby of the dorm and then nothing after that. When I got away
from my narcissist mom, some thing went south so to speak. I
didn't know who I was, because I made myself into whatever she
wanted, so my attempts to find myself were pathetic. I continued
to just mirror what I thought others expected emotionally.
That's why I've never really achieved much of anything. Too busy
dealing with the aftermath of that shit.

Well Satatnica...you've managed to become one cool chick and
that's something. I was lucky...I could do and go where I
wanted all my life as long as I called my dad weekly. He never
got mad...just wanted to sure his little free spirit was alive
and well. He was confused at times...the call from Gibsonton FL
while hanging out with retired circus preformers for a couple
weeks, and once I called him from New Mexico. But he never
freaked out...just made sure I was ok.

I want one of those!!!
I played the clarinet, the violin and the bagpipes. Yes... the
bagpipes. Seeing how everyone is talking about talents... but
those talents were all lost in my ability to suck the smoke out
of a pipe filled with any poison. And no one wants me running
around playing bagpipes.
