Electronics not working
By: Mikesc Date: November 7, 2019, 2:30 pm

Hi,just finished my build, inserted 3 brand new AAA
batteries,flicked the switch ......and nothing.
Is there anywhere I should be looking at first before I have to
rip the model apart, like a quick access panel or somewhere basic
to start from?
Absolutely nothing works ,shame the instructions never ran a
testing procedure before progressing to next stage.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Mikesc,
I had the same problem last week! The only lights that worked
were the ones in the right side door. Otherwise, nada! Very
disappointing for such an expensive model! I reckon it'd take a
ten hour dismantle/rebuild to get to the electronics, and then
what?? I think I'll wait 'till I retire to do that!
I didn't get my doors fixed either. The good folk at Eaglemoss
weren't much help there!!

Woah!! Hold the press Mikesc!
I was tidying my workroom and came across the fold-out that
highlights the glories of the model and there is was! ... The
answer ... The switches for the lights are INSIDE the cabin
facing the left hand side (passenger) door! They're numbered 1 -
6 and turn on/off different lights depending on what order you
do them in. Problem solved! Pity they didn't make that obvious
in the issues!! .. Or maybe it's a 'duh' moment for us both!!
:-D

Thanks Blonk for the reply. After viewing some Youtube videos, I
did notice the interior switches being pressed. I will look into
next time Im with the model. Really hope that is all it is.
As for the doors not staying up, I read somewhere that if you
replace the screws with DM screws, it should hold them up.
Again, something I need to try when I get the time.
Thanks again for your response.
