I wonder why he signed (besides more money), he clearly wants
out of the club. There is probably some agreement in there that
allows him to leave next year.

He'd be smart to include an escape clause.

I find it odd that Liverpool is not reporting the length of the
new contract. His old one still had 4 years left on it.
In my opinion, Luis is playing the club well. He has probably
doubled his wages, whilst also ensuring that he gets a big move
away from us within the next 18 months.

I don't think it's playing the club so much as getting paid what
he could get paid somewhere else, either they give him a new
contract or he hands in a transfer request, which is fair enough
really. A player with Suarez's obvious talent could be playing
at a much better team.

We have apparently activated Joseph Allen's release clause of 15
million Pounds. A ridiculous fee, considering we let Aquilani
go for free, but I will give Rodgers time, like we did with
Kenneth. ::)
