£40m net transfer budget for the rest of the window, according
to the investment roadshow. Supposed to be looking at Lucas
Moura and van Persie, which would be a lot more than £40m net,
but Nani may leave so fuck knows.

Hmm, interesting. If there is one player you could add to
Manchester United's squad (acknowledging their price and if they
would leave their current club)?

A defensively minded or all-round central midfielder, someone
like Scott Parker, Nuri Sahin, Alex Song, Lucas Leiva, Joseph
Barton, Lassana Diarra, Fellaini, anyone really. At the moment
we are entirely reliant on Michael Carrick in that position, and
without him our defence will be ridiculously exposed.

I read somewhere that Sahin may be leaving on loan soon. Are
Manchester United in the frame?

According to Marca, yes, while other newspapers have us in for
signing Lucas Moura and Robin van Persie for the third week in a
row. For what's it's worth if we get Sahin in I'll be very
happy with our business this summer.

Ok. Do you expect Manchester United to regain their Premier
League crown this season? I think Chelsea will be in the frame
more.

I foresee a four horse race between Manchesters United and City,
Chelsea and Arsenal, which will thin to the Manchester clubs by
the end of the season, provided one of them doesn't run away
with it. It's very difficult to make predictions on such a
complex competition with so many variables though.
