Story!

Hello everyone! This is a game called Story. The concept is
simple: everyone adds a sentence to the story. You must end it
with something that can be continued off of. Example:
Good post:
"I played Hypnotoxic Laser, putting my opponent to Sleep. And
then..."
Bad post:
"I played Hypnotoxic Laser, putting my opponent to sleep."
Also, I don't ask that the story make any sense, but please do
not post something that doesn't fit in.
And with that, we begin. The first sentence:
I was on a flight to the Pokemon World Championships, when...
