Shin is just keeping to himself and is watching everything very
closely.
He doesn't think we are currently in any danger but isn't taking
any chances.

Forhrlit mumbles something about hating the sunrise and baiths
with cold water. Not freezing water but cold enough to wake her
up then goes looking for a stiff drink.

Zeke wakes up and slowly gets about his business. Even kisses
Juleka lustfully when giving her a steaming bowl of porridge.
As everyone gets up and ready, Zeke stays a little aside, and
praises Lathander to extend His mercy upon your souls, as your
venture forth, on the mountain of shadow of death.
The road is easy, well maintained and only slightly covered in
snow. As he walks up and down, Shin notices it first: there is
no sound, aside from their own and the wind. As you approach a
clearing in the surrounding forest, the wind suddenly falls, and
and eerie, low vibration seems to come from the very mountain.
The only thing you can distinguish in the clearing from that
distance is a lonely tree amidst a population of dead low (2-3
feet high) bushes. Even went on as usual with his witty (not
really witty) comment: "Wow. This is not creepy."

for signs of danger, people and traps

The lone tree, the vibration..it creeps Forhrlit out pretty bad.
She clutches Juleka's arm..."the whole scene fucks with me. This
vibration... I was thinking some graveyard ritual site shit,"
she whispers in Juleka's ear, "What by the Ancient Gods is
this? Doesn't seem like a trap layed by people but damn if it
don't seem like at trap. Tell Shin to fall back. Please, love,
we gota stick for a minute an' you got the voice.."

As the party gets ever closer to the tree, you notice a hanging
rope on it. The low bushes reveal themselves to actually be
wooden tombstones. The low vibration gets louder, yet remains at
a very low pitch, almost so low that you feel it rather than
hear it. You also notice it is very cold, around
-18[sup]o[/sup]C (0[sup]o[/sup]F).
On the far side of the dense graveyard is a small, single-story
house.

Shin will look around and see if there is anything else of note
around.
He will also attempt to get as close to the building as he can
to see through any windows without alerting anyone inside.

Conga pulls out his hammer, and strikes the tree, just to see if
anything "happens".
