Forhrlit says nothing but lowers her sword and moves next to
Shin to get a closer look at the creature.

The misty figure faces Shin and replies softly, as if
understanding his reasons for asking: "I am sorry, but your
timeframe is unsignificant to me. The town you are looking for
was without any doubt created after I created my home here.
Therefore, I do not know where it is and if I shall ever see it.
But continue on your way, you will exit our home nearing a plain
with a lonely mountain. Maybe that can help you."
"Be on your way, and may the Four Winds be in your favour". Upon
saying this, the misty silhouette dissolved into the same fog
you had marched in. It cleared the way and went back the way you
came.
"Well", says Even, "you don't see that everyday! Maybe I could
write a song or a story about it."

Another day of wary travel in the canyon, and you finally emerge
from it, as the fog being indicated, on a large plateau. What
the being could not tell you was that this large strech of flat
land had accumulated hundreds if not thousands of years of peat,
making the whole area a gigantic swamp-like forest, dominated by
cedar and willow trees. Fortunately for you, even as you emerge
from the canyon, you can see the small mountain you were looking
for, Little Frost, rising above the peat bogs, maybe two days
away from the base, three from the top.
A difficult trail snakes through the bog, easy to walk on, but
sometimes too narrow for the cart, of which a little sometimes
falls in a boggy pit. The air is wet, even though the sky is
clear and you feel no wind. After the first few hours, you feel
a sudden warmth, all at once. Juleka immediately realizes it was
the fog being's spell that wore off.
You have a day and a half to the base of the mountain, and night
falls.

Shin takes first watch and patrols the outside of the camp until
he rests for a full rest.
On the journey he will continue his patrolling the perimeter
unless something happens to waylay the group.

Forhrlit continues taking last watch when the group is camped
and never strays far even in the small hours.

Conga sets up camp, producing from his bags his mess kit and
tinderbox, starting a fire with little trouble despite the damp,
cold surroundings. Once the fire is strong, he sits, his belly
growling.

(Finally! some warmth!) I cheer internally as the spell is
lifted
(OH, dang it all) I mourn as the foggy cavern opens into a muddy
swamp "great...and here I was hoping for some warm..." I extend
my hand to Forhrlit and pull her over to sit by myside at the
cart "hug me, I'm cold!"
I let the other guys prepare all the campment and just prepare
Mikaela for the night, trying to keep her warm and dry as best I
can. After finishing I tend to our things:check that everything
is well packed and covered, protected from the weather and the
watery swamp. I also check on the status of the cart itself.
When all is finished and checked on I make dinner for everyone
(something spicy and warm, if I can cook it with some licour
even better, to keep us guarded from the cold).
When dinner is ready I take Forhrlit by the hand and take her to
my tent "come, I'm already burning inside and need you to quench
this heat inside me..." < and the scene goes to black >

The road you chose being very lightly traveled, everyone keeps
an eye open. Fortunately, roaming monsters seem to be raiding
elsewhere, for your worst enemy was the campfire choking under
the high humidity.
While packing your small camp, Even played a little tune on his
harmonica. And then the road went on, same as yesterday. Once, a
large tree had fallen across the path. While Forhrlit and Shin
kept watch, Juleka, Mikaela, Even and Conga were able to move it
out of the way. Even was boastfully joking about bandits having
no chance against their two guards while they went back to
traveling.
Soon enough, for they were tired, darkness came down. You found
a small dry place and set up camp. Juleka again prepared some
delicious food, and night began. Again, uneventful. The mountain
was looming very close when you packed up in the morning, no
more than two hours walk to the base. If you are lucky, you can
arrive at the summit at dark's fall.
