Conga, shield donned, rolls up his bedroll, and packs his
things. He takes some food from where the goblin cook had been
stationed a few moments ago, and awaits something to do,
cracking his whip at the trees, and trying to continue Even's
weapon training.

"Ya just don't want to admit it" I say while winking an eye
"don't go too far into the woods" I equip my armor and shield
and pick up the campment and pack everything again on the
cart"we must be prepared to get moving guys" then I turn to the
goblins "so, ye're going to guide us to the woods? or yer chief
is going to come here?"

As Juleka asked her question to the goblins, everyone turned to
see Zugluk and Dalob (naked again) coming in, ahead of some
twenty goblin soldiers.
"Good, you're awake", said Dalob. "We have a few hours walk
ahead of us, then onto the fight. We brought the rest of our
soldiers, and only Zorsad stayed with the women and children. If
we fall, he will lead them to safety, so they can rebuild the
tribe. Come, let's be on our way."
As he said that, the goblins that had stayed with you got up and
ready to leave. Zugluk went ahead, making it clear that he would
open the way and let the noisy talk take place further down the
soldier column. The forest was quite cleared of brushes and line
of sight extended to a good range, almost 300 feet. Trees were
generally widely spaced, and were still thin enough that no
human could hide behind one. The forest floor was thick with
fallen leaves decomposing, moist enough to muffle their
footsteps instead of cracking. The goblins did not talk much,
and when they did, they did in their language. Dalob stays close
to Juleka and Mikaela, 20 goblin soldiers leading, 10 tailing.
Please write a post with everything you wish to do during the
travel. You have 3 hours of walking. If you want to talk to
Dalob, we'll do it over Facebook chat, then I'll copy/paste
everything in one post. If you want to talk to Zugluk or the
cook, he'll grunt and avoid answering. Any other goblin will not
say a common word, only in goblin.

Shin stays near the column but not close enough for anyone to
talk to him but close enough that he can keep an eye on it.
He also as always will prefer waking in shadow and will do his
best to avoid well lit areas.

I ride the cart as long as the forest allows it, if the forest
becomes too thick then I just load Mikaela with the essentials
and will trust the fact of the distance between the road and the
cart along with the locks on the chests too keep our belonging
safe < If I'm forced to leave the cart behind I'll handle
everyone whatever equipment they may have left at the cart if so
they desire >
The rest of the way I go in silence, unsure of what to expect,
I'm not exactly against confrontation but the fact that the
goblins arrived so...eager for battle caught me off guard. (Shin
is angry, Even is silent, Forhrlit may return to that "killer
mode" of hers if combat gets out of control, and Conga, a dwarf
after all, surely is excited about killing goblinoids...our
little makeshift group is about to face their first real
challenge and I'm unsure of how I should act)
"Thar's no doubt The Light got me on this path, so it's surely
part of me destiny, and I'm sure I'll be fine, but will all of
us be able ta come back this same way? I'll use all my power ta
make sure as many of us do but..." I say in a whisper (would
these people mistrust me if I were to use my powers to help the
goblins?...I definetely would have prepared something diferent
than a clash of clans...If we coulda've talked with the other
goblin kill...maybe woulda've stablished champions to
fight...resolve the issue on a single combat...Shin or Conga
woulda've been great candidates for that...is it still too late
for that?) "Dalob...could it...I dunno...could we, talk ta the
other king...stablish like a duel ta settle this? You know,
their biggest warrior against our or something? Several of yer
warriors could die if we start a large-scale battle here"

Conga stays close to the once-again naked Dalob, partially
wanting to get as much information out of him, and partially due
to his mistrust of the gob, not wanting to let him disappear
again. He cracks his whip from time to time, a half smile/sneer
coming to his face each time any of the goblins cringe/flinch at
the sound. He looks forward to Juleka's attempts at diplomacy
failing, but also is eager to participate in a duel if Moradin
so wills it.

Forhrlit remains quiet and near to Juleka and the goblin leader
listening to their conversation as best she can.

Dalob looks rather surprised at Juleka's idea. "Why would they
agree to this? They're stronger than we are, though possibly
your help may tip the scales." He paused to think about the
idea. "Maybe you could go alone ahead of us and offer it, and if
they refuse, we could attack just then, keeping both your
conscience and the surprise element? Zorsad would agree with
you, so I will let you try, but I doubt your success."
The forest's path never became tight enough to leave the cart
behind. Travel was swift and efficient, and soon Zugluk motioned
for a halt. He then came to Dalob to discuss the battle's plan,
at which point Dalob informed him of Juleka's idea. He shook his
head, but sighed and agreed to let the strangers try.
"Do as you wish. We will position ourselves around them, and as
soon as we hear a sustained whistle blow, we will attack." As he
said that, he offered a wooden whistle. Dalob agreed and wished
luck upon the travelers. He then told them the way to the rival
encampment, and told them that since they were arriving from the
east, the three goblin patrols would attack from the north, west
and south, leaving the eastern approach to the travelers.
Without leaving them a second to answer, the goblins split
themselves into three forces, and each captain instructed his
men, then moved out into the woods.

Conga, always suspecting a trap, refuses the whistle, thinking
Juleka may prefer to be the whistle-blower when the ish hits the
fan and his hammer hits the ish. He has his hammer in his hand,
and begins his march forward (East), towards the likely ambush
that lay ahead. Heads (hopefully Goblin heads) will roll.

Forhrlit thinks this whole thing is a bad idea, 'Why even bother
with these creatures? It's probably a trap...the dwarf seems
over confident, the cleric foolhardy and I don't think the
halfling cares about any of what is currently going on...'
For a moment she considers killing Juleka and splitting the
spoils and going separate ways but thinks Conga would try to
stop her, 'and we are already surrounded by goblins...damn'..she
thinks. "We are properly fu*ked..." she accidentally says out
loud as she walks near Conga.
