The party made quick time, and before the second night, they
came upon the infamous West Woods, goblin-infested, apparently.
As they were even more cautious but hasty, they still were able
to go fast. During their third night, maybe halfway through the
woods, it was third watch, Conga's.
Forhrlit was gone for her nightly walk. Though she did not
venture far of the camp, she felt something was wrong. All was
quiet. Too quiet. She had lurked through the shadows enough to
know what was about to happen. Perception 16. When training her
eyes on the likeliest bush to hide an enemy, she unmistakably
saw a red eye shining and the pointy teeth of a crooked smile.
The good news was that the creature made no move towards her, no
move whatsoever. She had the headstart.
Something in Juleka's sleep was not normal. She breathed with
difficulty, and being agitated in her sleep. Dreams of shadows
and dread had got in her and drove her mind to pain and
       sickening hopelessness.
Shin's was not so much better. His usual sound and peaceful
sleep was tonight populated by killer's guilt. He dreamed of any
and all of his acts, though from the victim's point of view. He
felt pierced by hundreds of daggers, hamstrings cut, throat
       slit...
Conga was tending to the fire, not knowing any of his traveling
companion to be in any danger.

Forhrlit quickly and very quietly makes her way back to camp and
only makes a little coughing noise before approaching Conga so
       as not to startle him.
"Goblins, in the woods near camp. One was looking at me..Quickly
, we must wake the others..."

I toss and turn uneasy in my sleep. "Light...protect us..." I
mumble in my sleep, the darkness in my sleep deeper and blackest
than the one outside, the shadows more menacing in my dreamland.
I try to summon The Light for safe haven...for I know I'm
destined to greatness. No matter the hardships my soul must not
fall prey to the night! Although it is easier said that done
"stand back!" I call my companions "behind me...away from the
darkness" I call in my sleep "Light, guard us!"

Conga winks at Forhrlit, acknowledging his sneaky companion's
warning, knowing that she scouts each night on her own. He grabs
his hammer, and reaches over to rouse Even, quietly nudging the
sailor's arm, and ssshing him so as to not make a scene.
"Goblins.... in the woods" Conga gets up, cool and calm. The
goblins know the party is here, the party knows the goblins are
there, and the party knows the goblins know the party is here,
but the goblins don't know that the party knows that the goblins
know the party is here, which means that really, rationalizing
it all, our party has the element of surprise.

I will not wait for Stefan to post for Shin, since he is having
       nightmares...
As Conga jerks his arm, Even wakes up. The calmness of the dwarf
told the man that time was precious, but not perilous. He
quickly got up and took his cutlass and unsheathed it. Moving
quickly, he grabbed his shield, but made no move towards his
armour. He then noticed Juleka moaning in her sleep. After a
glance at Conga and Forhrlit, who were actively watching around,
Even tried to quietly wake Juleka and Shin, starting with the
       aasimar.
The woods were silent. No movement or sound. The wind has become
       a memory.

The shaking forces back the darkness in my mind, and although
it's still dark when I open my eyes it's nothing like it was
       before
"Even? Thank The Light! It was merely a nightmare!" I say barely
in a whisper, more to myself and to him "what's th-" I interrupt
my question noticing his weapon drawn and the tense expresion on
       Forhrlit and Conga
"ambush?" I ask under my breath (We're already in the woods,
could it be...) "goblins?" (we're gonna need the Halfling) I
turn quietly and try to wake Shin up
       < If possible I ready a Bless Spell >

Forhrlit, all her senses directed toward the woods around her is
ready with shield and rapier. Keeping a low stance in case of
projectiles she keeps close to the shadows and tries to blend
       in.
--she stays no more than one move action from anyone in the
       party--

"By Lliira, halfling, wake up!" muttered Even quietly. He
continued to shake Shin with Juleka, though he was keeping an
       eye on his surroundings.
As Forhrlit "scouted", she heard a high-pitched voice talking
very quietly. Not understanding the words, it sounded like a
collection of grunts, hisses and some actual words.

Conga kicks Shin, in an attempt to wake him from his deep
slumber, at the same time, tired of this game, he yells out to
the forest "We know you're out there, let's just get on with
this already!" He hefts his warhammer up, ready to strike.
Waiting for the enemy to break cover, he stares intently at the
brush. He'll not wait long before charging towards his yet
       unseen enemy.
