So yesterday, around the same time as I was writing the
Distortions Of Truth and Why I Turned Comments Off On Social
Media posts it seems I was sent the above message on Facebook.
I rarely use Facebook and only signed back up to it because
certain other sites I wanted to join required a Facebook login.
Since I was on it, I figured I may as well set up an artist
page, but I rarely use it.
Today my phone notified me that I had a message on Facebook and
the above is a screenshot of what I saw. Pretty obvious its
some sort of A.I. because its created a fake account using my
name with a masonic logo and then sent itself to my real
account. The content is interesting given that I've discussed
money and being fairly paid elsewhere online recently. So it
seems to show the level of tracking that is going on of the
content we put out online and how the A.I. is using this to
create fake bot accounts. Its not the first time I've had to
deal with fake bot accounts on Facebook.
The funny thing is, straight away I posted it to my YouTube
community and then when I went back to the original Facebook
message a little later it had been completely removed.
In the past I've occasionally received strange emails which have
some relevance but are clearly fake. Only reason I'm sharing
this is to again encourage others to expose the same sort of
things they may be having to deal with.
