       The Sound Of Silence

       In my own personal life I can trace the roots of the madness we
       are currently seeing back to the years 2007 - 2010. My own major
       awakening happened at the start of 2007 and it led me to some
       spiritual/conspiracy forums to share my experiences and perhaps
       find some like-minded souls. Quickly it became apparent to me
       that many of the people on these forums were not so different to
       what they called the "sheeple". They would berate the "sheeple"
       for being lost in dumb entertainment, tv shows, etc but it
       seemed to me many of these people had simply swapped that kind
       of entertainment for conspiracy and spiritual entertainment.
       I tried to point certain things out to them but they couldn't
       hear what I was saying. Often I was ignored and when someone did
       engage in a discussion with me they soon disappeared when they
       couldn't respond to the point I was making. Some even cut off
       from me in anger, throwing insults, telling me I'd never hear
       from them again.
       I moved on from those places and tried elsewhere but it became
       apparent wherever I went it was the same old story. To this day
       the pattern seems to go like this... I either start a discussion
       or involve myself in one and make certain points. Someone
       usually takes great offence at my points, challenges me or
       insults me and then when I try to go further into the discussion
       with them they disappear. Some just disappear after one comment!
       It happens in real life too. I've had people walk away from me
       in the street or walk out the room and simply end the discussion
       that way. No explanation! What is more insane is many of these
       people will then convince themselves I have stopped talking to
       them! Its like they suffer some weird amnesia and forget it was
       them who walked out on me. For a while it messed with my
       thinking, I came across terms like 'gaslighting' and 'ghosting',
       which I'd never previously heard about, and thought that was
       what these people were doing to me. Eventually I had to drop it
       after realising I would be pulled into their madness if I didn't
       get out.
       It is not just me who this happens to, it is anybody who tries
       to express Truth. It is now 2021 and in my own life this has
       been going on since 2007 and I haven't seen it change at all.
       Same reactions, same unwillingness to discuss things in a civil
       manner, same insults, always running away, in fact if anything,
       it has got worse... this is what has led me to feel we've gone
       too far, the gulf between awakened beings and those still asleep
       within the system is simply too large and so the split in
       humanity, which many spiritual people have been talking about
       for years now, seems inevitable.
