"HAMDEN, Conn. (WFSB) - Quinnipiac University has reported cases
of viral gastroenteritis, commonly called the “stomach flu,”
among residents of Ledges Residence Hall.
The university’s medical director sent a letter to students
living in The Ledges last week offering guidance on symptoms,
prevention and when to seek medical care after the cases were
reported.
“Keeping students healthy and informed is a top priority for the
university,” said John Morgan, associate vice president for
public relations at Quinnipiac University. “The university will
continue to closely monitor the situation and support affected
students.”
