COLD WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS EVENING TO 9 AM
EST MONDAY... ...WIND ADVISORY IS CANCELLED... ...EXTREME COLD
WARNING WILL EXPIRE AT 1 PM EST THIS AFTERNOON
* WHAT...Very cold wind chills as low as 10 below expected.
* WHERE...In North Carolina, Alleghany NC, Ashe, and Watauga
Counties. In Virginia, Carroll, Floyd, and Grayson Counties.
* WHEN...From 6 PM this evening to 9 AM EST Monday.
* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 10 below zero could
result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken
... Its cold but Masked Man dug some walks to firewood stash ,
and the mailbox, I throw down ashes from the wood stove which
work better than salt for the walkway ... I spend some time
shoveling but what can I say, we have everything we need so I
sit by the wood stove and read a little ..

and getting the mail and my first attempt at doing a reading ...

"The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse" while warming my feet
next to the fire!

It's cold here's a Winter Night 7 degrees 10 oclock Feb 1
.. me going to get some firewood..I can't show you much ..the
wind isn't blowing right now but yeah your thumbs and
extremeties start freeze right away. You can hear how cold the
snow is under my boots..crispy like. You wouldn't want to be far
away from your home as it is very dangerous.. you want to have
everything you need so you don't have to leave your home and you
want to be safe and have what you need insofar as a way to have
warmth, food, and water incase you lose electricity.
I also can't stress enough how important and how happy I am
masking and not getting sick during this winter storm or any
season for that matter.. If you catch the flu or anything in
this kind of weather you will be useless and it would prove so
problematic to be ill when you are needed for this challenging
winter storm. To have masked and safeguarded myself from getting
a contagious illness is so smart because I am able to fetch
firewood and carry buckets of water around and carry stuff here
and there. It would be totally awful and dangerous to have
caught an airborne illness or airborne diseases at a time like
this. So glad I'm a masker because these extremes are kind of
scary enough.. I'm glad I don't have to worry about being sick
because it is strenous enough to deal with winter!

degrees 10 oclock Feb 1 (it will get colder later and also
really cold when wind blows)
