       NOTE:
In this article FFP2/3 masks seem to be the standards in the UK
and/ while or N95 seems to be the standard in the US
       Jan 9, 2026
       SUMMARY:
Face masks ‘inadequate’ and should be swapped for respirators,
       WHO is advised
Experts are urging guideline changes on what health
professionals should wear to protect against flu-like illnesses
       including Covid
Surgical face masks provide inadequate protection against
flu-like illnesses including Covid, and should be replaced by
respirator-level masks – worn every time doctors and nurses are
face to face with a patient, according to a group of experts
urging changes to World Health Organization guidelines.

COMMENT: Oh yeah my respirator mask is always far superior than
the the doctor's who is supposed to be the professional .. it
just got to the point I was just happy they grabbed some wimpy
surgical mask out of a box and put on a mask at all at the
health care facility.. The WHO needs to also teach doctors to
practice wearing suitable masks so the mask doesn't slip off
their nose! It's long time overdue doctors and nurses (This
masking should includes people in waiting room!) make proper and
routine mask wearing an indispensable part of their lives daily
to prevent themselves and their patients and all those that
enter their building from spreading airborne illness and
airborne diseases amongst to one another.
Be pragmatical and wear masks after having received our science
lessons about how respiratory air droplets work to transmit
illness. Asymptomatic means we can't tell who is ill and who is
not just by looking at each other and that is scary and
threatening to our health ... let's protect one another in
advance with masks in a place where bunch of strangers (often
people who are ill or in a weakened state ) are forced to
inhabit the same areas and are seeking to heal!
This article was written on Jan 9, 2026.. that's six years after
covid spurred us on to do something about preventing the spread
of airborne illness and airborne diseases in and around our
healthcare facilities... you'd think they would know the
difference between a wimpy surgical mask and and a more suitable
more robust n95 mask by now after six years! Nevertheless a note
to hospitals and healthcare facilities on a budget: the surgical
mask is better than nothing if that's all your minimalistic
medical building facility is supplied with and if you refuse to
wear the better masks then us patients prefer you at least wear
a floppy little rubber band loose fitting surgical mask over
your vapor spewing oriface when you proceed to get in our faces
to check our vitals and such! Anything is better than nothing I
guess. Just don't give me covid or anything! I prefer competence
and proper high quality masking and intelligent self defense
against germs when I step into a a professional medical
       building!
Here's Masked Man's letter to healthcare...
Dear Doctor Nurse and patients coughing and in pain waiting in
the waiting room next to me,
Why is my mask better than all those I see around me who are in
the medical field!? It's important to me that doctors and nurses
don't get sick or look seek and don't pose a threat as hosts and
vectors of illnesses, Don't people with respiratory illness
often seek medical care inside medical buildings or is that a
figment of my imagination that people with respiratory
infections and illnesses don't ever enter these medical
buildings anymore because of science denial and lack of reality?
There's somebody in the waiting room not far away that is really
struggling to keep from coughing and really looking like they
are in pain...and who knows how sick the last one was that was
       sitting in this chair?
Here's what they say "Masks are routinely used in medical
environments to maintain sterile conditions during procedures
and prevent the spread of infectious diseases among patients and
       staff" ...
...so isn't what we doctors want? Don't we want a nice clean
sterile environment for our specimens and our patients?
Thank you doctor and nurses for your time and interest in
       viruses in these difficult times,
       The Masked Man
       P.S
Here's the deal do we want clean sterile areas to work in and
have undiagnosed patients with undetermined illness goin in and
out of that area unmasked? Doyou just wanna go in there unmasked
and breathe on and breathe in everything? Is one of the goals to
have a clean environment or not? Are we hoping the patient is so
healthy we don't have to mask, wash hands or keep anything clean
like the room or our tools sterile in medical clinical
environment where ill people often frequent with questions and
       mysterious illnesses?
Of course we want clean sterile place where ill people
       frequent!!!
"To maintain sterile conditions during procedures, you must
meticulously follow aseptic techniques, including thorough
handwashing, using sterile personal protective equipment (PPE)
like gowns and gloves, establishing and protecting a sterile
field (above waist level, free from talking/traffic), handling
only sterile items with sterile tools, and promptly addressing
any contamination. The key is strict adherence to principles to
prevent microorganisms from entering the body, reducing
       infection risk"
Healthcare people Gotta mask for those microorganisms you all
proved exit from microscopes.. gotta not inhale and exhale vapor
       and airborne droplets everywhere!
