How long are you contagious with COVID?
People with COVID-19 can be infectious from 1–2 days before and
up to 8–10 days after symptoms begin. The majority of
transmission appears to occur during the early periods of
infection, particularly in the 1–2 days before symptoms start

so people can still infect one another covid for a couple days
without showing any symptoms whatsoever … that’s what
asymptomatic means .. you can’t tell when someone is sick or not
(something to be mindful as Fourth of July holiday gatherings
are around the corner)
