SUMMARY - There has been an official update from the Texas
Department of State Health Services (TDSHS) concerning the Texas
Measles Outbreak of 2025. There are 309 cases of measles in
Texas, with Gaines county remaining in 1st place (211), followed
by Terry county in 2nd (37) and Dawson pulling ahead of Yoakum
for 3rd place (13). Yoakum currently trails in 4th (12). The
next official update will be Friday (March 25, 2025).

Alabama health officials investigate possible measles exposure

The Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) is investigating
potential exposures after an unvaccinated child traveling
through the state tested positive for measles.
State Health Officer Dr. Scott Harris told the State Board of
Health Thursday the child was passing through Alabama on the way
to a beach destination with family and made a brief stop at a
motel.
While the child was likely infectious at the time, state health
officials said they have not identified any high-risk exposures
in Alabama. The case was confirmed after the child underwent an
examination in another state.

of the year for Tennessee.

... I guess or presume that aforementioned statement means the
child got sick maybe during examination from a doctor's office
then traveled through other states possibly spreading it ? I
wonder what that other state was and what examination room!?

whenever they discover one case you know there's another one out
there still unaccounted for that caused it...
So far "There is currently an ongoing, national measles
outbreak, involving over 300 cases in 11 states".

SUMMARY - There are two cases of measles in Erie county,
Pennsylvania. Both cases are linked to international travel.
NOTE - The article is confusing, as the website is for Erie
county, Pennsylvania. However, the link in the article to the
Erie County Department for Health is for Erie county, New York
State. Finally, they talk about Ohio which has its own Erie
county. Eerie.

SUMMARY - There has been an official update from the Texas

Dawson in order to create a tie for 3rd (13). Lubbock currently

contagious.
The individual traveled throughout the nation’s capital within

Ohio: Ashtabula County has now recorded ten cases of the
measles, with one of those infected known to have exposed others
in Knox County in central Ohio.
