       Surging HMPV Cases in China
By: Masked Man Date: January 8, 2025, 9:56 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
       SUMMARY:
Five years after the COVID-19 pandemic gripped the globe, China
may be dealing with a new virus outbreak, according to reports
from multiple news outlets on Friday, Jan. 3. Some social media
users are claiming a little-known virus is overwhelming
       hospitals.

       Masked Man Side-Remarks:
I'm going to comment on this news link above and then suggest
another news link below on the page to read from India at bottom
of page so you all can decide which news link you prefer.
What I think about this first news link above,
I think the "social media users" are onto something here...
Anything sending people to hospitals this day and age is of
public concern to me. Once bitten twice shy! Not catching me
       with my mask down regardless!
I swear, what is it with these people that monitor diseases that
say: “no need to be concerned”? It’s like sick indoctrination
saying: "here’s an outbreak that might happen here in your
country but don’t think about it"... No need for public to be
concerned” Masked Man, says that's just a stupid thing to say!
There's all these pictures of scores of sick people overwhelming
their hospitals and some so-called maskless expert who monitors
diseases has the nerve to tell me not to worry about it like
its not mask worthy here in my country?
Anything newsworthy is of public concern, otherwise why would it
be in the news?.. what’s the point of broadcasting news if it
isn’t important or of public concern?!? Thanks for the fair
warning I’m masking for this one just like I'm still masking for
covid as well as the other four airborne diseases occurring
right now in my country tis of thee.
I’m concerned but don't worry disease monitor I'm mentally
stable and happy at the same time… it’s like these disease
monitors are afraid I’m going to freak out or something at their
tragic news.. I’m not freaked out I’m just gonna wear my mask as
       usual.
You disease monitors might want to be concerned enough to wear a
mask as well or else go over there and tell all those hospital
patients in the waiting rooms over in China not to be concerned.
There's something racist about this newscast like it couldn't
happen to other people outside that country or something. Yeah
Masked Man thinks it is a small world after all and am concerned
if there's an outbreak in China it affects everybody.
Maybe this will become a problem outside of China, maybe it
won't but I'm fed up with newscasts that tell me not be
concerned about something. We have that choice as to what
concerns us and what doesn't. We aren't babies! Don't sugar coat
it for the Masked Man! I like it real! Tell it like it is! Give
       it to me raw!
Don't show me pictures of scores of Chinese people all slumped
over waiting room chairs that look like they are basically in
agony, pain and utter misery and then tell me its not of public
concern because that's not being realistic and such a heartless
remark such as "don't be concerned" is not appropriate or humane
thing to say when showing pictures like that. That's just
messing with me and the general public.
Don't show the suffering of so many people on tv and then
belittle their suffering by saying I shouldn't be concerned.
That's like showing me pictures of the holocaust or something
       and saying it isn't happening.
Don't shock me with pictures of a large quantity of humans
suffering and then tell me what to feel about it like not to
worry about what I saw in the pictures of all those Chinese
slumped over waiting room chairs being tortured by an illness.
,,,That's what I don't like about this newscast I posted above
       at top of page.
...Now check out India's news link I post below
Then you got news in India.. India never says "don't be alarmed"
India doesn't downplay the situation and in their news of it
they take it more seriously than most other news from other
countries do including America.. India news always seems to be
more cautious and never says "don't worry about it". I prefer
India News rather than my Native American news because India
includes all the facts but they leave out the "don't be
       concerned public" statements.
       See India News here...

I just find it interesting that India also asks and poses more
questions about the subject while newscasting than most other
countries I know of.. The ways News is handled in India just
seems more respectful of human suffering and they seem wary and
       thoughtful when reporting the news.
There's just something about India that takes their news more
seriously than all the other news Ive seen especially compared
to the news Ive seen in my native country America. Its like
India is not afraid to to be concerned.
In America its like you have Ken and Barbie Doll interviewing a
maskless doctor in their studio and its like everybody has got a
short attention span and they just wanna know if the disease
will stay in China or whether they need to worry or not so they
can just wash their hands of the matter and get onto the weather
for their next big holiday trip which they have already planned.
Ive seen American newscasters simply laugh and smile while they
talk about covid while India's news just acts more serious and
asks better questions. I just think India puts America's news to
shame in matters concerning outbreaks and pandemics. India
       newscasters seem more mature.

       Masked Man side-thought:
Oh I just can't help thinking about it: This is the age of
viruses. There's just no two ways about it. We have to simply
adapt to a lifestyle of super precautions utilizing all the
tools we got and fighting the invisible... covid must be bad
enough.. Its not letting up and even when the waves or surges go
down its like now we got new numerous viruses that are simply
sitting there idling ready to rise and strike again during
       holidays and get togethers...
...its just mathematical proof that we are getting hit by
several viruses and illnesses all at the same time ebbing and
flowing. It can't be denied that this has never happened in our
history before.. it must be the fact we are densely populated
and the transportation is so powerful and then environmental
conditions and other animal species dealing with same challenges
       we are...
I am not fear monger or trying to shock people it just seems the
future will be one of everybody developing new lifestyles and
adapting their lives and accepting the challenge of surviving
microscopic entities at play. I think that's the biggest problem
they are microscopic entities and they hit us where it hurts the
most amongst loved ones and everybody whom are close and
important to one another.. its like an invisible gun got put
into all our hands or sort of like that fairy tale of the Midas
touch where all we inadvertently touch turns to gold but in this
       case illness.
On the one hand technology of being able to go to and fro across
seas and back so fast hurts us but on the other hand technology
like computers help us share and come close to being able to
communicate and help one another. The world is not ready for
this but hopefully it will stay connected to your work Data
Report such as these forums and your Pandemic is not over Virus
       update.
Its all in data! We must follow the data and modify our lives to
what we each are seeing as we go. For me this not difficult to
do but what hurts me is the masses and family members who are
yet to see the changes we must all make to stay safe and care
for one another. Again the diseases are bad enough but what
hurts me the most are all those that don't seem to see it coming
and just aren't aware of those microscopic entities. Gotta
respect things we can't see that are wuppin us!
Keep up the good work Data Report! We are definitely crusaders
       of sorts!
       The Masked Man!
