Spike in respiratory cases causes NC healthcare org to limit vis
itors
By: Steve Date: January 4, 2025, 3:07 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
SUMMARY - Duke Health, a North Carolina organization that
encompasses a variety of healthcare schools and hospitals, has
ordered that visitation be limited to all of their hospitals and
ambulatory surgery centers as January 6, 2025, due to a spike in
respiratory illnesses, including Covid-19 cases. Daytime
visitors for patients will be limited to no more than two people
ages 12 and older, while overnight visitors must be at least 18
years old unless they are the parent or caregiver of a pediatric
patient. Masking is urged, but not required, for all visitors.

"Masking is urged, but not required, for all visitors."
Then the problem will continue. We're 5 years into this and
healthcare still refuses to do what's needed.

This hits a nerve for the Masked Man! :) Nothing makes the
Masked man more berserk than hearing about maskless doctors,
nurses and sick people holding gatherings in close quarters! So
help me God its all I can do from not hurling cuss words and
insult upon insult upon these imposters who go maskless and
claim to heal people of diseases at same time...
Yeah its crazy..whatever happen to the Hippocratic oath about
preventing disease ...masks reduce airborne disease infection
and spread...What kind of rule is that: "Masking is urged, but
not required, for all visitors."!? That basically means you
don't have to wear a mask and go ahead and breathe in and
breathe out diseases upon one another!
...its like the doctors & nurses don't have to mask but a
visitor who might offer to wear a mask would be rejected. lol..
if a little school aged kid wore a mask and he or she was 11
years old he wouldn't be able to visit the hospital yet its okay
for a maskless adult to enter the sickroom.. these rules are
atrocious ..the cdc merely recommends masks while there is a
spike in respiratory illnesses.. aren't respiratory diseases
airborne diseases? duh... for some reason the word "quack" comes
to my mind when I read about facilities that house maskless
doctor's, maskless nurses, and maskless visitor's who treat
patients respiratory diseases... I wear a mask when I go outside
my house.. these medical people are simply lazy. I can't
understand it. Mask for covid and therefore ya mask for whooping
cough, influenza, strep etc. they might as well mask for one
airborne disease since masking will also help prevent like five
of the other airborne disease floating around right now.
Maskless People who raise poultry are no better. Another five
years might very well eliminate some of these people.
They ought to limit maskless doctors from entering the medical
facility. seriously Mask for covid and your masking for all the
other airborne diseases as well.. now that's a bargain and an
advantage!
I guarantee you they'd let a maskless camera man and a maskless
news anchor enter their dirty hospital halls and elevator for a
maskless interview of how hard they have it at these hospitals
.. they'sll smile for a photo for the press and a news story so
vain are these so called professional healthcare workers. They
do it all the time.. maskless doctors and nurses walking the
dirty hospital hallways with some maskless news anchor and
maskless cameraman on the 6 o'clock news... they are dying for
the press always complaining about the spike in respiratory
diseases and such and how overwhelmed they are with illnesses.
Its absolutely ridiculous but true.
These are the
Top 8 Respiratory Illnesses and Diseases:
from
UnityPoint Health News and Articles Top 8 Respiratory Illnesses
and Diseases
(non of the following people people seeking treatment for a
respiratory illnesses should be exposed to the maskless people
in healthcare facilities or take unnecessary risks with airborne
diseases nor should they be allowed to infect others with
airborne diseases) :
Asthma
Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
Chronic Bronchitis
Emphysema
Lung Cancer
Cystic Fibrosis/Bronchiectasis
Pneumonia
Walking Pneumonia
Pleural Effusion
Additional Illness – COVID-19
...It doesn't take a brain surgeon to know that masks need to be
worn when in close contact with people suffering from the
aforementioned respiratory illnesses. Duke Health, a North
Carolina organization that encompasses a variety of healthcare
schools and hospitals is basically saying you can wear a mask
but you don't have to around people suffering from the
aforementioned respiratory diseases.. uh what drugs are these
doctors on!?
Medicine may not be an exact science but c'mon doctors at least
use some common sense and mask up and have people around you
mask up when dealing with airborne diseases! Just look up the
definition of airborne disease and that should suffice in
explaining why to wear a mask.
If doctors and nurses and healthcare people how an airborne
disease works and how it come out of a sick person's face and
they know that mask helps prevent the transmission of the
diseases amongst their patients, doctor and staff then they know
they need to mask its just that simple. They are pretending to
be dumb. They are playing dumb. They just don't want to wear the
mask..they just don't have the discipline because its simply
illogical and unethical not to if they understand the nature of
airborne diseases and how many they are uo against. They need to
mask for the sake of the patient.. doctors took an oath and yet
they refuse to mask...
...we have MD here in my little town that won't mask for me and
my loved one who mask. He says he doesn't have to. It just ain't
right. It's just not right for our MD to refuse to mask for us
upon request. That's not loving or even caring or being
sensitive to our needs or health. I actually think its evil so
we don't see him and according to a masked nurse practitioner
whom we did see; she told us they lost many patients to covid. I
take it that means they died.
Wear a Mask around spikes in respiratory illnesses disease,
There but for the grace of the mask go I, Its against my
religion not to wear a mask around airborne diseased people,
The Masked Man

Masking should be made mandatory in all healthcare settings
during times of high virus spread. In fact, they should just be
mandatory all year round in healthcare to limit the spread and
keep hospital acquired infections down.

Yes Indeed, If a scientist was studying this airborne germ/virus
in a laboratory, that scientist would be required to wear a mask
and gloves and it should be the same rules for Doctors and those
working with the virus once the virus is outside laboratory
settings as well.
