…Masked Man personal commentary/ caveat to the public. something
extra to consider: I fear these reported cases of bird flu are
but a fraction of the true amount of cases. The bird flu is
likely the same with covid in that it is being highly under
reported.
Wild life and animals and people with animals are less likely
check these animals into vets offices and there is bound to be
stigma as well in the sense that farmers might be afraid to
report that their livestock is sick for fear of losing business.
As with all the other cases of airborne illnesses they are
contagious which means almost always somebody gave the
person/animal the virus first therefore when one person/animal
got it really a multitude already had or has it due to the fact
the person/animal giving it to the other person/animal often
goes undetected and unaccounted for.
This occurs with contagious viruses such as influenza, whooping
cough, covid, etc. … not every body gets counted many people
never get diagnosed so we always have to assume there are many
more cases out there than we counted.
(One needn't go far to find the person who thinks or convinces
themselves "oh its just a cold or allergies and hopefully it
will go away let's keep working or let's keep playing ..it will
be okay" ..these kinds of wishful thinkers often spread these
viruses)
…all this results in a lot more people and animals infected with
airborne diseases than we can possibly count. Yet another
example:You can’t have just a solitary person with whooping
cough .people don’t just spontaneously get a contagious airborne
disease or virus out of nowhere.. it always comes from another
person or from within a family, group or a stranger . it always
came from another person so that where there is one case there
are really many in reality.
It's hard to tell how many cases of these airborne diseases get
unaccounted for be they covid or bird flu. There's bound to be
many more than we know of.

..Oh I can't help but look into those cat's eyes! I got two
indoor cats which never go outside.
We also have three feral cats that we feed on the back porch. I
used to feed birds on back porch but not now. I don't want a
congregation of birds pooping and eating on the back porch with
the feral cats we have on the porch. I have no way of protecting
our beautiful backyard cats. It's a helpless feeling as
neighbors up on a hill have backyard chickens. Fortunately the
neighbors chickens seem far enough away nevertheless it's a
helpless feeling not being able to protect the three feral cats
whom live under our back porch that bring us so much joy. We
mask when feeding the out door cats and going on our back porch.
Feral cats don't have that option to protect themselves and they
simply use their snout for everything.
This current news about bird flu and the cats it infects just
further brings it home that we have a major problem on our hands
and it affects everybody (not just farmers). Almost everybody
has pets. It just just seems smart, logical and healthy to be
bit scared right now. Birds/livestock/cats is too many
connections to ignore. We as a society have to be dumb to not
to be concerned, sensitive, and wary of bird flu at this stage
on these levels.
