This is not good at all and happening so soon after the previous
report of Bird Flu being found in raw cat food.
Up to 5 cats sickened in California after bird flu found in
       another raw pet food brand.

Masked Man side note to Pet Owners...
These updates are enlightening especially because in todays age
our pets play a significant role in our culture and family....
pets are practically household members in our families proving
once again bird flu (and any animal related health concerns) is
indeed a huge major concern for the public. We have direct
contact with our pets and are interactive with our pets on many
of the same levels we have with other humans. Our animals have a
heart and lungs etc. just like us.
I for one have been microwaving my dog and cat food regardless
of brand because of food born viruses and different contents in
the bags and canned food need more food safety precautions and
to me I might as well microwave the food to kill possible
viruses and germs and my pets like their food heated. That's not
to say you shouldn't discard pet food that has been recalled.
You should safely discard any pet food that has been recalled.
That being said, I simply microwave all pet food to be on the
safe side as an extra precaution like I would cook anything as
most pet food probably contain something raw or partially
cooked in my opinion. If I am being overly cautious then that's
fine with me. I don't mind being labeled as overly cautious.
That's the point; I put the "pre" in the word 'pre'caution. That
means ya do stuff before it happens not after..
... My lines of thinking are thus: They say hot dogs have been
precooked but you cook it anyway to be on safe side..same goes
for a can of soup as its already been precooked but ya cook it
again anyway right before consumption just to be on the safe
       side.
Better safe than sorry and I am taking the same precautions with
my pets food as I would myself to be on the safe side. There are
many raw food items and components in pet foods that might not
get processed or cooked enough or looked over enough by third
parties..anyway regardless I microwave my pet food just like
boiling food to a safe temperature and that aids in sterilizing
and killing germs and bacteria and stuff in the food for my
pet's welfare and that gives me a sense of personal safety
       having done so.
I also keep my pets safe and happy with much success indoors so
they don't mingle with other animals or the byproducts of other
animals outside. I treat my pets just like a household member
and keep them happy in safe home considering them vulnerable to
viruses and diseases from other animals in the area.
