       Landslides - Nepal - 2024 events

       SUMMARY - Two landslides in the country of Nepal claimed the
       lives of seven people. Four people were killed in the Bajhang
       district when a house was swept away, including a grandmother
       and two of her grandchildren. Three other people were killed in
       the Jajarkot district when a temporary shelter became buried in
       a landslide. The causes were not explicit although Nepal is
       currently in its monsoon season where heavy rainfalls frequently
       cause landslides.
