List of Performers Sick In 2024

In this thread, all cases of entertainers who are sick and had
to cancel shows in 2024 will be listed. This will be a work in
progress, I will be adding to it as I see new ones pop up or
find old ones. Check back often as I will constantly be adding
to and editing this thread.

On June 28th 2024 it was announced that Pearl Jam would be
canceling their Saturday, June 29th London show due to Illness.

SPECIFICS FOR CANCELLATION - Direct quote from artist: "I’m
sorry to report that I won’t be able to perform ... this week
due to a sudden respiratory illness that I have to take

DATES CANCELLED - June 28, 2024.
SPECIFICS FOR CANCELLATION - "... After suffering from
exhaustion and catching various illnesses from my kids, my voice
has been severely affected and my range is compromised. I have
sought advice from medical professionals, they have advised that
I need to rest my voice and that means I’ve had to cancel
tonight’s show.”

On the morning of July 2nd it was announced that singer Pink
will be canceling a show in Bern, Switzerland.
So far the cause is said to be Dr's orders after falling ill.

SPECIFICS FOR CANCELLATION - "... she underwent a surgery to
remove a cancerous growth and is recovering steadily, but that
her doctors urged her to undergo preventive chemotherapy and
take time off from performing..."

ARTIST - Homme, Josh (full name: Homme, Joshua Michael)
TYPE - Singer (Band: Queens of the Stone Age)
DATES CANCELLED - Indefinite (At least through December 31st,
2024)
UPDATE (2024-08-24) - More dates have been cancelled. The
earliest available concert date not to be cancelled is January
1, 2025. There is no update on the artist's health.
UPDATE (2024-07-29) - More dates have been cancelled. The
earliest available concert date not to be cancelled is September
27, 2024. There is no update on the artist's health.
SPECIFICS FOR CANCELLATION - Homme is returning to the United
States (from touring with his band overseas) for emergency
surgery of an unknown type. He was previously diagnosed with
cancer in 2022 and treated in 2023. A prior concert date on July
5th was also cancelled "due to illness" (although it did not
specify which person or persons was ill).

While not sick Stevie Nicks has had to cancel shows on July 6th
in Glasgow and July 9th in Manchester after suffering a leg
injury which will require her to have surgery.
